Hyunjin was late again the 3rd time this week, and it's only wednesday till now. today was valentine's day and we were supposed to go on a date.
'is he even alright or not? why is he so late?' i thought and then heard a knock on the door so i got up from the couch to open the door, it was hyunjin.
"hey! why are you so late? it's 10:00 p.m. already, and we were supposed to be on a date weren't we" i asked after he entered.
"i am sorry Y/N, we were filming the dance practice video of lose my breath" he plopped down on the couch and removed his mask.
"oh, it's okay... are you tired?" i asked him as i took his backpack to place it on the tea table.
"no i am a little tired, we didn't get any breaks during the filming, and as we were already tired it took us many shots to finally perfectly film it, and that is the reason it took so long" he shrugged and pouted cutely.
"awww... okay so let's cancel the original date idea and have a karaoke night if that's fine to you" i cupped his cheeks.
"yeah sure, and speaking of dates, i bought you flowers but forgot them in the car" he said being the drama llama he is and putting his hands on my hands with a shocked expression.
"you're such a drama king" i facepalmed myself and he got up and ran in tiny to his car and came back with flowers in his hands.
"awww these flowers are so cute" i said and he handed the flowers to me.
"hehe..." he smiled shyly and scratched the back of his neck.
i admired the flowers and then put them as a decoration on the shelves near the entrance of the house, while Hyunjin looking at me lovingly.
i set up the karaoke in the living room, and we started singing, we first sang 'black hole' by bangchan and jeongin, and then sang many other stray kids songs, we got an idea to compete each other in a way that who has a better singing voice.
"the loser has to do all of the chores tomorrow" he said.
"okay" i replied
"i am gonna win this of course, i am a professional singer"
"don't be so sure, babe" i said.
"let's just start already," he said ignoring me "1, 2, 3, go" he continued and played youtiful by stray kids.
i sang with all my heart, and my score was a 93/100, which is pretty good for a non-singer. it was now his turn and he sang lose my breath, he sang it beautifully. But his score was a 89/100.
"i told you to not be so sure" i said booing him jokingly.
"huh, it's because i was tired and my voice cracked" he tried justifying himself. 
"awww, not gonna work on me, baby" i scoffed.
"ugh! fine!, let's just go to sleep already" he tried changing the topic.
But it was pretty late so i just shrugged and started moving towards our bed room, but i felt a hand grabbing my waist gently, it was hyunjin of course, he turned me around so that i was facing him, and pulled me into a kiss.
"i have an idea to end our day beautifully" he said after breaking the kiss.
"what is it?" i asked him.
"let's go to the roof, and watch old videos and photos of us" he said with lust in his eyes.
"why at the roof, we can do it here too" i was confused.
"to remember the first time we confessed to each other at the new year party on the roof of chan's house" he said.
"ooh, that's a really great idea, i will get our old photo albums and you get all the old tapes of us" i said while already running towards the store room to get the albums.
he too went to his home studio to get the pendrive which stored our memories from 5 years back.
"hey i got them!" we both said at the same time after coming to the living.
"let's go the roof then" i told him.
"yeah sure" we both started going upstairs to the roof.
"the cold breeze is feeling nice" i said when we opened the door to the roof and the wind whirled around us.
"yeah it sure does... let's go sit there" he started walking towards where we had set up the movie place for romantic nights, with a laptop in his hands.
"let's see our old photos first" i said and opened the first photo album, consisting of the photos of our first year in the relationship.
we looked through the album, there were photos of us from the beach, vacations, parties, christmas, etc and the last one was of us when we moved into one house. We laughed as we recalled those good memories of us.
"hey, Y/N, this is from the first christmas we celebrated together" he said pointing towards a specific photo in which i was wearing a red dress, and he was wearing a white tuxedo, we were making a heart together in the photo, i recalled the moment and giggled as i realised how much our relationship has grown along with our love growing for each other.
"this is really cute too" i pointed towards the one from the beach, i wearing a simple white outfit and hyunjin had lifted me up from the back.
once we were done going through all of the memories stored in the photos, we moved to watching videos of us.
the first one to pop up was also from the beach, in the video me and hyunjin were playing around, in the water, running all over and having fun. the second one was from the halloween, it was us trying to bake the cake for halloween, having fun. the next was from the christmas party, also us having fun, and like this one after another we watched all of it, and i started feeling sleepy.
"baby, i am feeling sleepy let's go and sleep now" i said and yawned.
"yeah, sure" he giggled.
he carried me down the stairs to our bedroom, and tucked me under the sheets, and laid down beside me, after giving me a peck on the lips and on the forehead. i hugged him in sleep and he did so too, we slept in each other's embrace, peacefully.
i had a dream, which was basically a cinematic shot of everything we did today, it was the best valentine's day ever.
