It Will Finally Go My Way

                                    

                                          
"Pillow.... What is this?"
"It's a crown, silly," Pillow said.
"I mean, yeah, I know that, but how will it help me?" I asked.
"The gem," Pillow said.
"Does it do something?" I asked.
"Yup! It has mind control abilities!" Pillow said.
Mind control...?
"How would that help me?" I asked.
"You can be the one in charge for once. You can make your team do whatever you want. You can finally have them respect you," Pillow said.
I had to admit, it was tempting. But...
"Do I really have to use mind control...? That just seems... Wrong."
"Fine, suit yourself. But think about it," Pillow said.
"Is there any catch or something? You wouldn't just give this to me for free, right?" I asked.
"Nope, no catch," Pillow said.
"Huh. Well, uh, I'm supposed to bring you back to my team's base, so..."
I picked up Pillow and lifted her over my head. She wasn't that heavy. I carried her to the team base.
"I got Pillow," I said.
"Hi!" Pillow said.
"What took you so long?" asked Black Hole.
"Sorry, she was just... Hard to find," I said, not wanting to reveal our conversation.
"Riight. Anyways, put her in the basement, there's a chair and some chains to attach her to. Put her in the closet and lock the door," Tree said.
I nodded and went down to the basement, sat her down on the chair, tied her up, and locked her in the closet. I then went to my room, my existence being ignored, as usual.
I lied down in my bed and stared at the ceiling for a few hours, thinking about, well, everything, really.
I thought about how much life sucked, and....
I remembered Pillow's offer.
She was seriously just.... Giving me the ability to fix everything. For free. 
Why she would do that, I don't know. But she did....
But, no, I can't do that. Hypnotizing them is wrong, no matter how much they make my life miserable.
I decided to just get some sleep, it is pretty late. Hopefully I'll just... Forget about it in the morning and not have to see Pillow ever again.
I closed my eyes and tried to go to sleep. Sometimes I like to imagine Crystal still here with me, and sleeping by my side like they used to...
I finally managed to get to sleep. However, I don't think I'll be forgetting about Pillow's offer anytime soon....
I dreamed about... What it would be like if I were to just... Take the crown...
It was.. great. I didn't have to worry about anything. I... I was finally respected, and not just...
A useless writing utensil with ink.
When I woke up, I lied in bed for a while, before Black Hole came in and told me that I had to have breakfast and that it was my turn to guard Pillow for the next two hours.
I got up, made a couple pieces of toast, and walked down to the basement. I sat down by the closet, and after a few minutes, I spoke up.
"Hey Pillow?" I said.
"Have you given it some thought?" Pillow asked.
"I have, and....
....I want to give it a try."
