Serafina's pov______________________

10 minutes later we arrived at his door. Alice knocked on it.

"Go away!" We heard Hatter's voice. "You can't come in"

"Hatter is us" Alice said. "Alice"

"And me, Serafina!" I yelled hoping to catch his attention.

He opened the door and was shocked to see us. "Alice. Serafina. You're you. And you're here" Hatter hugged Alice first.

And then me

And then me. "Hi, Hatter"

Hatter pulled away and looked at us. "You are you, aren't you?"

"Yes, Hatter" Alice said.

"Good" Hatter looked around to see if anyone else was here. "You're the only two here?" Hatter pulled us into his house and shut the door.

"You've always been Alice. And that's how I know you'll believe me"

"I've missed you, Hatter" Alice smiled at him.

"It's my family. Lost for many years" He looked at us. "Or so I thought" He whispered. He showed us the blue hat Bayard was talking about. "Look. I found this. The first hat I ever made. I thought I'd tossed it away a long, long ago. It's impossible for it to be here, and yet... here it is... so if this hat survived... my family must have too"

"But, Hatter, that's..."

"I thought I wasn't worthy of the Hightopp name. Very serious man, my father. We had a terrible fight. I never said I was sorry when I had the chance" I felt bad as he explained it all. "But this means... that I can make things right"

"Hatter... your family, uh.." Alice looked to me for help, but I couldn't say anything.

"You two do believe me, don't you?"

"I want to. I..."

Hatter's hair started turning white. He stumbled back into his chair.

"Hatter!" I kneeled down in front of him. As did Alice.

"You're not well" Alice said. "What can I do?"

"Of course. My Alice and Serafina... could bring my family back to me" Hatter said.

Alice and I were both quiet.

"Hatter, the thing is... your family died" Alice spoke and Hatter looked heartbroken. "Long ago. You told us so yourself"

"Hatter, I'm sorry, but no one can bring them back" I said shaking my head.

"No one but you two" Hatter said with a slight glimpse of hope in his eyes.

"I'm sorry" Alice said. "But it's...it's impossible"

Hatter's eyes turned white. "You" He spoke in a deep voice. "... Are not you" Hatter took our hands and led us to the front door and opened it.
