Tai Lung layed in the dimly lit room, his gaze lingered on Jia's sleeping form beside him. It had been two years since Jia had returned from her training, two years filled with moments of joy, laughter, and love.

As they lay together now, Tai Lung couldn't help but marvel at how far they had come. Jia had become his rock, his anchor in the stormy sea of his emotions.

He remembered their late-night conversations, where they would lay awake for hours, sharing their hopes, fears, and dreams. Jia had a way of seeing through the darkness that lurked within him, of bringing light to the shadows that threatened to consume him. In her presence, Tai Lung felt safe, whole, and complete.

But amidst the warmth of their shared embrace, a sense of nervousness gnawed at Tai Lung's insides. Today was the day, whether he liked it or not, things couldn't remain as they were any longer.

His train of thought was broken as Jia stirred and a surge of affection washed over him. She was so beautiful, so perfect, and he couldn't imagine his life without her by his side. He brushed a gentle kiss against her forehead, savoring the softness of her fur beneath his lips.

"Good morning, my love," Tai Lung whispered, his voice filled with tenderness. "It's time to wake up."

Jia groaned softly, her eyes fluttering open as she gazed up at him with sleepy eyes. A small smile tugged at her lips as she snuggled closer, seeking the warmth of his embrace.

"Morning already?" she murmured, her voice still heavy with sleep as she yawned.

Tai Lung chuckled softly, his heart swelling with love for this woman lying beside him. "Yes, my dear." he replied, his voice soft and warm.

Jia groaned softly, her eyes still heavy with sleep. "I don't want to get up yet," she muttered, her voice muffled by the fur on Tai Lung's chest.

Tai Lung couldn't help but smile at her protest. "You're usually a morning person," he teased gently, his tone filled with affection.

Jia sighed, her breath warm against his chest. "I am a morning person," she admitted, her voice tinged with amusement. "It's just that someone seems determined to keep me up late into the night."

Tai Lung chuckled softly, the sound like music to his ears. He cherished these moments with Jia, these quiet, intimate moments where they could simply be together. In her presence, the darkness seemed to recede, if only for a little while.

But he knew he couldn't delay this moment any longer, even though the thought of it made his stomach churn with anxiety. Sitting up, he gently coaxed Jia to join him as his heart pounded with nervous anticipation.

"Come on, sleepyhead," Tai Lung said softly, his voice tinged with uncertainty. "It's time to get up."

Jia groaned in protest, her grip on the covers tightening as she buried her face deeper into the warmth of the blankets. "No, it's too early," she whined into the fabric.

Tai Lung's heart sank at the sound of her sleepy protest. He knew he had to tell her the truth, no matter how difficult it was. Taking a deep breath, he reached out to gently tug the covers away from her face.

"Jia, seriously, we need to talk," he began, his voice hesitant as he looked into her eyes. "I... I haven't been happy for a while now, and I think our relationship needs to change."
