"Nothing, just practicing handwriting," Petra replied, a new mask hiding her pleasure.

"It doesn't look like that." Jesse huffed, crossing her arms over her chest. "What did you do?"

"You two started it! I was just boosting it!" She retorted.

Jesse's arms fell to her side as her jaw dropped. She was dumbfounded, being completely clueless. What the heck was Petra thinking?

"Petra, I'm not gonna ask again. Poor Lukas is now cooped up in his room because of you."

"You guys were supposed to confess, not run away." Petra playfully slapped Jesse.

"That's still not explaining what the heck you did, and why you thought this was a good idea." The girl rolled her eyes, glaring at the redhead.

There was silence between them. The Wither Slayer's mind went away from the present, back to minutes before. She had seen Lukas's eyes go from gold to normal. What was he doing again?

Something snapped inside of her just then as she took in what had happened. The note was supposedly written by 'her', the potion, and Lukas hovering over her, it just all made sense.

"Oh my gosh...what have I told you and Liv about the meddling?"

"All those other times it was Liv, not me!" Petra sighed.

"Still, you all need to stop playing the matchmaker prank! It's ridiculous." Jesse groaned, facepalming.

It was true, in the past three years, Olivia had tried to get her with multiple guys. Jesse of course took no liking to them. Here they were now, Petra trying the prank- on the one guy she ever had a thing for.

"Jesse, you can't pretend it's not there. Everybody sees the way you make eyes at each other." Petra said matter of factly, standing up so she instantly towered over the raven-haired girl.

"Well 'everybody' does not know everything. They probably don't even know the first thing about me." The leader slapped her friend, storming out of the Hall.

Axel seemed to be outside the room, peeking his head in. "Told you it wouldn't work, Petra."

The warrior groaned, heaving a sigh. "No one asked you."

Olivia's head peeked in the room too. "You should've taken my word for it. Nothing gets past Jesse."

Later on, Jesse found herself in the middle of the woods. She was more than ticked off. Petra had taken a stupid page out of Olivia's book. Jesse, being as obsessed with Petra as she was, had herself taken a page from the redhead's book. She had had her walls up, where no one had any chance to break them.

Though, was it that obvious? Had everyone realized how much she had a thing for the blonde? She had taken extreme measures of precaution to make sure no one would notice, but apparently, they all saw right through her. Well, it's not like she had a journal hidden under her bed with every page saying Jesse Lukas 4 Ever. (Of course, she does)

She didn't exactly know why these feelings had surfaced in the past three years, to be honest. There was just something about him that made her entire world brighten. She just had no idea as to how or why.

She dropped to the ground, leaning against a tree trunk. She just needed to take some time to think this all through before she confronted everyone and talked to Lukas. What was there to think through?

Trillions of thoughts flooded her brain, not even the smallest part was thinking something different from the rest. It all screamed Lukas and the events that went down that morning.

Sighing, her mind fell silent. It was just...blank...

She pushed herself off the ground, standing up. She had to go back and explain herself. After all, the better option was to have disappeared in her 'security enhanced' bedroom, not the woods.

She had to face them, face their questions, and her whereabouts.

Though she didn't get much of a chance to. Someone grabbed her from behind. She tried to scream, only for it to become muffled as a black glove covered it.

Their grip was strong, but it didn't matter. She squirmed against it anyway, trying to find some way out of this.

The figure holding her whispered in her ear. "Don't fight it, Jessica."

That voice sounded quite familiar. Though she knew it had to be from Sky City. It wouldn't be a coincidence for George to find her, only for an attempted kidnapping to happen in her bedroom, with her being the target. This had to be someone from there.

Her screams were still muffled, but they were mostly getting drowned out by the force this dude's hand had secured around her lips.

It didn't matter though, for she started to feel nothing but something being injected into her arm. Her eyelids fluttered dangerously closed, giving up on the fight for the rest of her body to be free.

Darkness consumed her, and she couldn't process anything.

Days had passed since then. It took her kidnappers days to find the portal to Sky City. The Old Builder's Temple was hidden deep in the woods. For them to find this legendary temple, took some time.

There was also the trouble of injecting their prize multiple times. They did not want her to wake up until they arrived in Sky City. It didn't bother Milo. He wasn't exactly ready to tell his daughter the truth.

It was just him by himself, so it did take some time to navigate his surroundings. He had never been in this world before.

Nevertheless, he had managed to get a map from a neighboring town. That was how he knew exactly where everything was- mostly.

With the unconscious figure still wrapped in his arms, he stepped into a white and gold portal frame. He didn't expect to end up in his very house in Sky City- but it was better that way; no one would grow suspicious of him.

He happened to be in his main room, so he laid down Jesse on a couch against the wall. Isa came into the room, literally dropping Benedict as she saw Milo and her daughter.

"Milo- you...are you serious?!" The Founder wondered leaning over the sleeping girl.

"I had to kidnap her. They would find it suspicious if I just appeared out of nowhere." He explained, taking his cloak off.

"You do realize how confused she will be, right?" She placed her hands on her hips, tapping her toe too as she waited for him to answer.

"She'll know the truth soon enough." That was all the man said before he disappeared into another room.

Isa sighed in disappointment, sitting down beside Jesse, stroking through the familiar silky raven hair.
