THE UNEXPECTED VISITOR
One evening, as Soo-hyun and Ji-won were enjoying a quiet dinner at home, there was a knock at the door. Surprised, they exchanged puzzled glances before Ji-won got up to answer it.
To their shock, standing in the doorway was Yoo-jin, Soo-hyun's ex-girlfriend. Her presence sent a ripple of tension through the room, and Soo-hyun's heart skipped a beat.
"Yoo-jin, what are you doing here?" Soo-hyun managed to ask, trying to keep his voice steady.
Yoo-jin shifted uncomfortably, avoiding his gaze. "I was in the neighborhood and thought I'd stop by. Can we talk?"
Ji-won felt a knot form in her stomach as she watched the exchange. She knew about Yoo-jin from Soo-hyun's past, but she couldn't help feeling a twinge of jealousy and insecurity.
Sensing the tension, Soo-hyun stepped forward, his voice firm. "Now's not a good time, Yoo-jin. Maybe another day."
But Yoo-jin pressed on, her eyes pleading. "Please, Soo-hyun. It's important."
Ji-won felt a surge of protectiveness towards Soo-hyun. Despite her own doubts and fears, she stood her ground, stepping closer to him and placing a reassuring hand on his arm.
"Soo-hyun, maybe we should hear her out," she suggested, her voice gentle but firm.

Once they were all seated, Yoo-jin took a deep breath, her eyes brimming with emotion. "I know I have no right to ask for your forgiveness, Soo-hyun, but I need to apologize for how things ended between us."
Soo-hyun's expression softened slightly, but Ji-won could see the turmoil in his eyes. She squeezed his hand reassuringly, silently urging him to stay strong.
