"Your marks have increased." said Tsunade, who had been walking next to Shika. She now looked at her hands, which she had examined herself. "When did that happen?"
"I don't know. It just kept getting worse." Shika said and lowered her hands again. "I would like to examine you again in Konoha."
Shika had already assumed that. Tsunade had already examined her as a small child. Back then, it was more about her brain waves and her absent behavior. It was hard to believe that there was still something that could be a disease.
Shika breathed in the fresh air slowly. The rain, which had almost become a part of her, had disappeared. Seeing the bright sky and the sun took Shika back to her earlier days. White clouds passed by her, which had made their way to Amegakure.
"What's the first thing you want to do in Konoha?" Tsunade asked curiously, looking down at the girl. "Watching the clouds." she said slightly absently. Shika was showing the Senju her old behavior again right now, which she would probably never be able to shed.
"I arranged that with Iruka." the Nara added. They had promised to lie down together on a training ground and watch the clouds together. "I understand." smiled the blonde, who had finally stopped.
"What's going on, Tsunade?" asked Orochimaru, who had only vaguely overheard the conversation. "I recognize weak chakra." admitted the blonde.
"You don't want to help them, do you? Jiraiya was stupid enough to take care of those kids." a small snort came from Tsunade. "I'm a doctor, Orochimaru. What if they're shinobi from Konoha? I can help them."
Shika preferred to stay quiet during this conversation. She judged the situation to be rather shaky. On the one hand, Tsunade was a really good healer and would never abandon any of her comrades. On the other hand, they could also be other shinobi. Some from Iwagakure or Kumogakure, if not from Sunagakure.
The Shinobi World War was officially over thanks to Hanzo's victory. However, there were still shinobi who wanted to shake up the peace.
"I'm strong enough to take care of that. You'd better take Shika back to Konoha." said Tsunade, who had been looking at Orochimaru. "I can't believe you're acting like such a jerk. I expected at least some sense from you." said Orochimaru, slightly annoyed. His teammates were probably getting on his nerves sometimes. One reason for Shika not to have had her own team. Obito, for example, was exhausting enough.
"But if you say so. I'm not going to die for such stupidity." exhaled Orochimaru, who had continued walking. "See you around, Tsunade."
Tsunade shook her head, slightly uncomprehending. "Shika, don't listen to what Orochimaru tells you. Sometimes you have to make important decisions."
"Huh? Oh well, I don't bother anyway." said Shika, who had now also moved on. She could hear a small laugh from Tsunade, which she couldn't really understand.
"I should have guessed that Shika wouldn't be interested in that..." smiled Tsunade, who was now going her own way. However, if she had stayed with them, she could have prevented the next attack.
