In Apple and Raven's dorm room, the group gathered to discuss their plan for sending Brooke back to the narrator world. With Legacy Day looming just two days away, they knew they had to time their actions carefully. Apple and Raven sat at their desks, maps and notebooks spread out before them, while Maddie, Briar, Kitty, and Brooke clustered together on the floor, deep in conversation.Raven chewed nervously on her bottom lip, her fingers tracing the lines on the map. Legacy Day was always a tense time for her, a reminder of the expectations placed upon her as the daughter of the Evil Queen. She couldn't help but feel the weight of her destiny pressing down on her, suffocating her with its demands.
Briar, sitting beside Raven, shared her friend's apprehension. As a royal, she was expected to embrace her destiny, to follow in the footsteps of her ancestors without question. But deep down, she harbored doubts and fears, wondering if there was more to life than just fulfilling a predetermined role.
Meanwhile, Bunny and Alistair sat in the corner of the room, on two bean bags, munching on pastries and marveling at the flavors of Ever After. Bunny's eyes sparkled with curiosity as she sampled each delicacy, her enthusiasm infectious.
"Alistair, try this!" Bunny exclaimed, holding out a pastry for him to taste. "It's like nothing I've ever tasted before! So sweet and buttery!"
Alistair chuckled, taking the pastry from Bunny's hand and popping it into his mouth. "You're right, Bunny. Everything tastes so... magical here in Ever After."
As Bunny leaned in to take another bite, Alistair brushed a stray crumb off her cheek, his touch gentle and fleeting. Bunny's heart skipped a beat at the contact, a blush rising to her cheeks as she met Alistair's gaze.
"Thanks," Bunny murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. "I-I didn't even realize it was there."
Alistair smiled, his eyes softening as he looked at Bunny. "No problem, Bunny. You've got to watch out for those crumbs, you know."
Bunny laughed, feeling a warmth spread through her chest at Alistair's words. She couldn't help but admire his kindness and thoughtfulness, qualities that drew her to him in the first place.
As they continued to chat and laugh together, Bunny found herself opening up to Alistair, sharing stories about her family, her goals in life, and her dreams for the future. Alistair listened intently, his eyes never leaving Bunny's face, as if he were hanging on her every word.
Bunny took a moment to collect her thoughts, then turned to Alistair with a smile. "You know, growing up in Wonderland was always an adventure," she began, her voice tinged with nostalgia. "My family runs a tea shop there, and I've spent countless hours helping out and learning the ins and outs of the business."
Alistair leaned in, captivated by Bunny's words. "That sounds amazing," he replied, genuine interest shining in his eyes. "What's it like, running a tea shop in Wonderland?"
Bunny's smile widened as she painted a vivid picture with her words. "It's like stepping into a world of magic and wonder every day," she explained. "We serve all sorts of fantastical teas, from sparkling potions to enchanted blends that change color with each sip. And the customers! Oh, they're a colorful bunch, to say the least."
Alistair chuckled, imagining the bustling tea shop filled with eccentric Wonderlandians. "It sounds like quite the experience," he remarked, genuinely impressed by Bunny's stories.
"But it's not just about the tea shop," Bunny continued, her expression turning thoughtful. "I've always had this dream of exploring the realms beyond Wonderland, discovering new places, meeting new people... There's so much more to the world than just our little corner of it, you know?"
Alistair nodded, understanding shining in his eyes. "I know exactly what you mean," he replied, his voice filled with sincerity. "There's a whole world out there waiting to be explored, and I'm sure you'll find your place in it, Bunny."
Bunny smiled, a sense of warmth flooding her chest at Alistair's words. In that moment, Bunny felt a connection with Alistair, a bond that transcended their differences and brought them closer together.
Meanwhile, the rest of the group engaged in lively discussion, brainstorming ideas and making plans for Brooke's return to the narrator world. Maddie, always full of whimsical ideas, suggested using a giant storybook as a portal, while Apple proposed using a magic mirror to create a gateway between the two worlds.
Kitty, ever the prankster, couldn't resist adding her own twist to the plan. "What if we dress Brooke up as a narrator and send her back in style?" she suggested with a mischievous grin. "Complete with a fancy hat and a dramatic flourish!"
Brooke laughed, the idea sounding both absurd and amusing. "I think I'd look terrible in a narrator outfit," she admitted with a grin. "But hey, if it gets the job done, I'm all for it!"
As the conversation continued, the group found themselves laughing and joking, their worries and fears momentarily forgotten in the warmth of their friendship. And as they planned and plotted late into the night, they knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together, united as one.
