"I will check on you later."
The sentence lingered in Liftoil's head while he let the warm water slide down his tired body. Taking a shower after the unexpected encounter with this hot neighbour sounded like a good idea. At least he thought his mind would stop imagining the older male at his house and giving himself false hope. Liftoil stepped out of the shower, wrapping himself in the fluffy towel. Walking to his room, he picked his favourite sleeping shorts and oversized baby blue shirt and changed. He hung the towel around his neck, letting his wet hair dry naturally as he strolled to the kitchen. His stomach growled, demanding to get fed. The stew he made yesterday, was still hidden in the fridge, and he couldn't wait to heat it and fill his belly. Liftoil put the pot on the stove, watching the small flame reheat his dinner. 
Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Liftoil's heart skipped a beat. The hope rose and he excitedly ran towards the entrance. He took a few deep breaths before he opened the door. And there he was. His handsome neighbour like he promised. Dressed in grey sweatpants and a black shirt, Liftoil couldn't take his eyes off him. 
"Your hair is wet." Thawin pointed out, pulling LIftoil out of ogling. 
"I took a shower." He answered stupidly. The tall male nodded, pushing him inside the house. The door closed behind them. 
"Dry it. You will get sick." Thawin grabbed the towel and tossed it on his head before he walked towards the kitchen. Liftoil rubbed the cloth over his wet hair, following the older male. The confidence with which he navigated through their place made him wonder. How could he know? Liftoil plopped on the stool, watching his neighbour stirring the meal in the pot. And it occurred to him, that this man was more dangerous and mysterious than an asteroid flying past the Earth.
