Brendan didn't know what to do. Even though May's Blaziken was a fire type, it would be faster than his Swampert. Brendan knew that Swampert could only take two more hits from the fire type before fainting, and Blaziken would definitely need more than one mud bomb to take it out.
So, Brendan did the only thing he could think of.
"Swampert, use dive!"
Swampert jumped up and dived into the ground, creating a splash of water that came of nowhere. There was no hole or anything, just a random puddle of water.
"Oh-kay then..." May muttered, still staring at the spot where Swampert disappeared.
