(Ricky's POV)
I am getting ready to leave the hospital. My mom couldn't be here since Karen is helping Luke. So Brooke is here instead. 
"I'm so ready to leave this place" I said trying to do stuff with one arm 
"Ricky let me do it" She said 
"Brooke I have to figure this out eventually" I said looking at my girlfriend 
"Now why would you when you have a very nice and hot girlfriend to help you?" She asked coming over to me. 
"Oh I do?" I asked playing around 
"Uh huh" She said wrapping her arms around my neck. 
"Ow" I said as she went on the right. 
"Oh! Ricky I'm sorry" She said stepping away 
"It's fine. Maybe we should wait to do that until after this is off me?" I said to her showing the arm sling 
 
"Good idea" she said agreeing
The doctor came in. "How are you doing Ricky?" The doctor asked 
"I feel like I got hit by a bus and truck at the same time" I said 
"Well the truck part is right" He said with a chuckle. 
"So Doc will I be able to take pictures?" I asked him 
"I would give it some time. You and your friend both had to get your spleens taken out. You are probably gonna be able to take pictures before he goes back to basketball" He said 
I nodded and sigh. I guess I got to find a new hobby until I'm better.

(Nathan's POV)
The phone was ringing so I looked at the called id and it was dad.
"It's him" I said to mom 
"Don't pick up" She said. The answering machine went off. "Your father is refusing to cooperate with the attorneys. So this custody thing may end up in front of a judge. If that happens, things could get ugly, sweetie. But I want you to know, I'm only trying to protect both you and Ricky" she said 
I turned off the answering machine. "How great is it that dad has an off button now? Look mom I think you're doing the right thing for yourself. Even for him" I said 
"It's you and Ricky I'm worried about honey" She said 
"Well don't. We get it. You and dad splitting up is a good thing" I said 
(Ricky's POV) 
Brooke drove me back to my house. I walked in with her. 
"Hello?" I asked 
"You're home!" Mom said coming over and hugging me
"Ow mom. Careful" I said as she went hard on my right arm. 
"Sorry! Sorry! Are you ok?" She asked 
"Other than having surgery on my spleen? I'm great" I said 
"Alright well head upstairs and go to bed. You need rest" She said 
I nodded and looked at Brooke. "Wanna come up?" I asked my girlfriend 
"Of course. If that's ok with your mom" She said looking at my mom 
My mom sighed. "Just for a little Ricky. You need rest" She said 
"Alright 30 minutes and she's be gone" I said 
"10 minutes" Mom said 
"20 minutes?" I asked 
"Fine" She said. "It's only cause you just got home" She said
