I got back to where Vaggie was waiting patiently. When she saw me she immediately went over and wrapped one of her arms around my shoulder like motherly touch. Oh how I would've loved to feel this kind of touch from my own mother.
She first showed me the kitchen. It was incredibly nice and spotless neat. Niffty really did a great job. Next were the bathrooms which were also clean and spotless. It has pretty tiles too.
After that was the lobby, the lobby basically is where they'd hang out or just spend time in. Then, the other rooms. Finally, she showed me my room. While walking, she stopped infront of a room with crimson red paint.
"This is your own personal room n/n, and by the way your room is next to Angel's so you can ask for help to him whenever you want"
When she opened the room it sure was huge. It's the size of a princess's room! There was a queen sized black bed with gold blanket and gold finishes. On the bed's left was a glass door that led to a balcony with white transparent curtain. The walls were painted white and has gold patterns. There was a white closet too.
On the right side was a wooden dresser painted black and white with a lamp. There was also a makeup table on the corner. In the middle of the room was a white couch with black cushions and a glass table. Underneath the table was a black circular rug with golden swirls which nicely complimented the entire room.
"Uhmm Vaggie I think... I think I got the wrong room..."
"Huh? Why would you think that?"
"I mean... I don't deserve such one"
"Look n/n"
She crouched down at my level and looked at me in the eyes, her arms holding both my shoulders. Her eye showing me pity and protectiveness.
"I know how much you've suffered in your past life. I know how that felt. So this room? You deserve it... more than you'll ever think. As long as you're with us, you're loved okay? Think of us as your family. Now go and take a rest"
She patted me in the hair and gently pushed me inside the room. Looking at me once again and flashing me a soft smile before walking away. Looking at her with that smile on, I knew she has good living in her.
Maybe Charlie was right... maybe sinners could change. I examined the whole room. Is this how it would've felt like if I was loved before? Do I really deserve being treated like this?
Feeling somewhat different, I walked over to the bed and took a seat in it. After a while, I engaged to the comfortableness of my surrounding and layed down.
This environment sure was different. With the non human-like appearances and wars here and there, different society, this was all just too much to take in.
Being here for just a single day, I even forgot my real purpose... to spy. Suddenly a pang of guilt washed over me. How... How can I do this? Ever since I got here, all they ever did was love me but here I am... betraying them. I just can't do this.
They were treating me like a family here and then knowing that I'm just... going to backstab them. What do I do?
Sure some of them can be quite aggressive or just hard to approach but every individual has their own special and unique ways of expressing how they care. I obviously include Angel's sarcasm.
As the thoughts continue to run in my mind, I soon felt tired of all the happenings today. I made myself comfortable in my newly found bed and not to mention, air-conditioned room. My eyes soon became heavy and within a second, I drifted off into a peaceful slumber.
