Expanse (Pat/Non) - Behind the Wall

Nonsee looked out of the window from the room on the upper floor. Large expanses of mainly continuous forest surrounded the cottage. The green sea worked like another wall, but Nonsee didn't feel trapped like he used to be with the high white fence. After listening to a daring escape plan made by his grandmother Chor, Nonsee excused himself. He needed to absorb the information. 
The pair of arms sneaked around his waist and a well-defined chest pressed against his back. Nonsee leaned closer, seeking the warmth of his boyfriend. 
"How are you feeling?" Pat asked. 
"I am scared. Grandma Chor put herself in the danger. Mother and Grandma Klin won't stay still." Nonsee's voice trembled. 
"Grandma Chor will be fine, she has a lot of threatening material to make the two witches leave you alone."
Nonsee nodded, but he was still worried. What if they call the police? Acuss Pat and Iris of kidnapping? 
"They can't do anything. You are an adult..." Pat kissed his temple. 
"They are women of power." Nonsee couldn't help but point out. 
"And your grandmother Chor likewise." 
Nonsee nodded again. He turned around in Pat's arms, snuggling to his chest. He dreamed of the warm embrace for so long and now he finally had it.  
"I missed you, P'Pat." Non whispered against the clothed chest. 
"I missed you too." Pat smiled, pulling away. Nonsee looked up. The doctor's face was leaning closer. Nonsee let his feelings take over and met him halfway. Their lips connected in a tender kiss and suddenly everything felt right again.
