Soo-hyun: Hey Ye-ji, can you help me with something?
Seo Ye-ji: Oh, I know you will miss me, Soo-hyun. Sure, what is it?"
Soo-hyun rolled his eyes in frustration.
Soo-hyun: Let's go to a nearby café to have a talk.
JI-WON'S APARTMENT
Ji-won sits on the couch, plotting her own prank with Chang-wook.
TEXT MESSAGES FORMAT
Ji-won: Chang-wook, I need your help.
Ji Chang-wook: Anything for you, Ji-won.
Soo-hyun and Seo Ye-ji sit at a table near the window, laughing and chatting. Ji-won and Ji Chang-wook enter the restaurant, their arms linked. Both couples spot each other simultaneously, and their expressions shift to surprise and then feign nonchalance.
Soo-hyun's eyebrows crossed, and he muttered to himself, "I didn't expect to see Ji-won here."
"What a coincidence. Should we say hi?" Ye-ji said, looking at where Soo-hyun was staring intently.
Meanwhile, Ji-won saw them also from a far and decided to approach Soo-hyun and Ye-ji's table.
"Chang-wook, let's sit over there. I think Soo-hyun and Ye-ji could use some company." Ji-won said.
Ji Chang-wook looked at where Ji-won was saying and said,"Lead the way."
The two pairs merge, sitting at a larger table together. The atmosphere is tense but civil.
The tension escalates as the pranks unfold.
Soo-hyun was leaning closer to Ye-ji, loud enough for Ji-won to hear, "Ye-ji, you look stunning tonight."
Ji-won was smirking, knowing what Soo-hyun was doing, and said, "Chang-wook, did I ever tell you how much I appreciate your taste in restaurants? It's so much better than what I'm used to."
Soo-hyun and Ji-won's eyes lock, each trying to maintain their composure.
As the dinner concludes, both couples step outside. The atmosphere is thick with unresolved tension.
Outside the restaurant after the intense dinner, Soo-hyun and Ji-won bid Ye-ji and Chang-wook goodbye, and the two exited the restaurant. After they saw that the two were out of ear shot, they decided to talk.
"So, Chang-wook, huh?" Soo-hyun asked, smirking a bit.
"And Ye-ji? Really?" Ji-won replied, rolling her eyes, but the laughter is evident.
They both burst into laughter, the absurdity of their situation hitting them simultaneously.
"I can't believe we both tried to make each other jealous." Ji-won said, shaking her head.
"It’s ridiculous. I guess we both care more than we realized." Soo-hyun agreed.
Their laughter dies down, leaving a comfortable silence between them.
