22. The Deceit and Fall of Darth Mirage

Start from the beginning

Mustafar.

The planet of volcanic desolation. As I was leaving hyperspace and approaching the planet, a fleet of Confederacy ships appeared and began firing at me. Even though I manoeuvred effectively, it wasn't enough since a lucky shot destroyed my shuttle's wing, forcing me to gradually fade into a flaming blaze.

Fortunately, my ship fell into a rocky area near what appeared to be a laboratory. Darth Sidous was standing behind me, while Count Dooku was positioned across from me, preparing to fight against me. I know that this was my fate, and it was meant to be, as now I realise this is a one-way trip.

I converted my double blade to a dual blade and activated my lightsaber. I charged at Sidious at first, but my attention swiftly switched to Dooku. The first to strike was Dooku's graceful form, his red blade arcing through the air with unerring precision. I easily parried, and my motions synchronised with the combat lightsaber such that when our blades collided, the sound of destruction and strength made a symphony.

Sidious' strikes in the duel were a whirlwind of vicious cunning and efficiency. I fought like a horned beast. By focusing my passion, my sword was engaging both Sith like a cyclone of red light, as I was able to match Sidious speed with equal strikes of skill and ferocity, causing the planet to quiver and creating a ripple as we continued our combat.

Time seemed to slow as the duel reached its crescendo. Mirage deflected a vicious strike from Dooku, spinning to counter Sidious's lightning-fast assault. He could feel the dark side of the force surging within him, fueling his every move. His enemies were strong, but his determination was stronger.

We continued fighting until we were above the laboratory, at which point Sidious Lightning's skillful attack seemed to halt time with each Dooku hit. I feel like I'm becoming more positive as the battle progresses because it motivates me even more. Even though my opponents are powerful, I am determined to survive.

But then, from the shadows, Asajj Ventress struck. Her blade pierced his back, the pain searing through him. Mirage staggered, his defences faltering. He looked down to see the lightsaber protruding from his chest, the shock mingling with a profound sense of betrayal.

A blade stabbed me, exposing itself to ventress, and the unexpected heat and lava drew my concentration away from the fight. Her eyes told me she was being pushed to do this rather than because she was pleased. As far as I knew, I didn't want to get even with her; instead, I felt sorry for her, but it didn't satisfy me since I kept using the hurt to propel myself ahead. Dooku and Darth Sidious, who are aware of the situation, charged at me with Ventress.

As each opponent charged at me and blocked each attack, Darth Sidious used the opportunity to disarm me, destroying one of my lightsabers and forcing me to defend myself. As I blocked each hit, I saw that I was becoming slower over time. I am slowly dying. Using force as a last resort, I created a massive shockwave that pushed them away, leaving Ventress and Dooku hanging on the edge of the laboratory.

I summoned a big force of lightning at Sidious, who was also utilising force lighting, forcing our lightning to clash after erasing Ventress and Dooku from the image. Darth Sidious, who has a stronger connection to the dark side, seized the opportunity as his lightning approached and detonated, driving me over the edge and exacerbating my misery.

I didn't beg as much as I should have since I was just standing on the edge, staring at Darth Sidious while Count Dooku stood next to him, without pleading for mercy. We should accept death gracefully in the event of loss, but my task does not end until the Jedi are gone. With my helmet broken, all I could see was my eyes staring at Count Dooku, who stood in front of me with his lightsaber drawn.

As I looked into Count Dooku's eyes, he paused, enabling me to leave my final words or warning for what was to come. "Remember me." Ventress stabbed me in the lungs, causing me to have difficulty breathing; thus, my voice was very unpleasant. "Remember me when he betrays you."

As he sliced me, killing me, my body exploded with immense dark side energy as the dread masters that reside inside me flew about my body, producing a dark tornado and causing the planet's weather to gradually become darker and colder. "The snake finally dies." "Oh, Snake. Don't worry. "You still have uses for us."

Those who were loyal to me within the Jedi, Republic, and Separatists felt the repercussions of my death. It was a truly unpleasant event, a warning about the unpredictable nature of the dark side.

At best, a coalition founded on hatred is fragile. Because they all desired dominance, the Sith's rule of two resulted in conflicts, ambition, and fear among them. I was now thrown to the ground. My physical body was taken away from me, and I perished out of reach. Exiled. Was replaced with.

I am now the dark side's servant because it bound me to this plane. Using the force, I travelled across the cosmos to see Vexar Mor, and as I gave him the order to lead the Brotherhood and carry out Operation Shadowfall, I appeared as a phantom. He'll lead them on my behalf and await my return.
