After the lesson was over, the tests were collected one by one and placed on the teacher's desk. For Shika, this meant that she could close her eyes again and listen to the words.
How she would love to be outside in the fresh air right now. How she wanted to watch the clouds or the deer. But no, she had to sit here and listen to a man talking about the big five villages. How the history of the shinobi and the world wars began.
He immediately started talking about the Hogaken, which was something you found in most books anyway. However, it was something that wasn't discussed too much. As far as Shika knew, the next few lessons would be more about chakra and jutsus. Probably also about the clans and their abilities.
The history of Konoha was actually already common knowledge. At least for Shika. However, she could clearly hear the sound of pens with her ears. For that reason alone, she opened her left eye a little to see if she was right in her assumption.
And lo and behold. Iruka Umino was writing down everything the sensei had said. Why go to all this trouble? Why strain his hand when he could memorize it quite easily?
Either Iruka didn't know everything yet, or he thought that something like this had been tested at some point. Taking notes, however, seemed unnecessary to Shika. She didn't think the boy was stupid. Rather a little ignorant. With other people present, Shika would really think that they had hardly anything in their heads.
"Can anyone tell me which jutsu Tobirama Senju invented?" the sensei asked the group to find out who had already read up on it.
It could well be that one of his parents had already told him many things. He just wanted to make sure that he didn't tell the children everything, but also drew out their knowledge.
"Yes, Iruka." The man smiled as his hand was raised. "The shadow clone jutsu." said the brown-haired man, which her sensei had stamped as correct.
"Exactly, and do you know what the difference is between this jutsu and the clone jutsu?" the sensei asked immediately. "With the shadow clone, you can't tell who the real person is because they have the same chakra?" Iruka asked more or less uncertainly in response.
"Yes, that's right. That's why the shadow clone jutsu has been blacklisted as a forbidden jutsu." the sensei explained further. A lot of forbidden jutsus were used during the war anyway. You could hardly count them by hand.
"Does anyone know which jutsus were invented by the second Hokagen?" the man asked the group again, to which no one wanted to give an answer. Either they were afraid of saying something wrong, or they really didn't know.
At that moment, with her eyes still closed, Shika could only shake her head inwardly. Everyone should have heard this jutsu at some point.
"Edo Tensei..." Shika thought to herself, not wanting to give her classmates a hint or the solution.
