Once we made it back home, we found Pony and Amelia flirting on the couch, Soda and Steve fighting each other on the floor, Darry in his chair, reading a newspaper, Two-bit watching Mickey Mouse next to Ponyboy on the couch.

I took Dally's hand and we walked to my room, Johnny followed us.

"Is it cool if I hangout with you guys?" He asked, sitting in my chair by my desk.

"Yeah, you can hang around." I smiled at Johnny.

Me and Dally sat on my bed, lighting cancer sticks and opening my window. We handed Johnny one and got yelled at a couple times by Darry for smoking in the house.

"Y'all wanna go catch a movie?" I suggested, not knowing what to do.

Johnny nodded and Dally gave me a shrug. We walked out of my room, telling Darry where we were going.

We crawled under the fence, getting dirt all over me. Me, Dal, Johnny all sat down at a seat, glaring at some socs who walked in.

"Let's hope we don't get in no trouble." Johnny whispered to me and Dal.

I started getting very paranoid, Dally put his arm around me and hand on my knee for comfort, knowing how absolutely terrified I was of getting jumped. He also tried reassuring Johnny we were gonna be alright and they wouldn't mess with us.

"We gon be alright Johnny don't overthink it man." He said, staring at the socs seated infront of us.

One of them I recognized as Randy, the one who jumped me last time with Bob and a few others. They had some girls with them which I believe are Marcia and Cherry. I've never spoken to them, knowing obviously we were greasers and they wanted nothing to do with us.

"Maybe we should get outa here.. the movie sucks anyway." I said, seeing the worried look on Johnny's face.

"Yeah man, let's go." Dal took my hand, and we got up from our seats.

As soon as we did, the socs noticed us.

"Well, well. If it isn't Dallas Winston." One of them grinned at us, as his buddies stood up from their seats, following us towards the fence.

"Just leave us alone man." Johnny said, not looking back at them.

"What'd you say, wussy boy?" Randy laughed.

Dally let go of my hand, turning around and completely knocking out Randy. There were about two other socs, and Marcia and Cherry watching from aside. The two socs quickly took action and fought with Dally. I looked over at Johnny, who definitely saw this coming. I hugged Johnny, looking over to see Dally fortunately winning the fight. They had pulled out a blade on Dally so he had small cuts on his shoulder and arm, but he was alright. I could see a bruise forming under his left eye, and a cut on his lip.

"Come on, let's get to my place." I said, rushing over to Dally. Cherry watched me, worriedly. I looked over, giving both of them bitchy looks.

We made our way to my house, as I rushed through the door. Two-bit quickly moved off the couch and I had Dally sit down. I quickly grabbed some cloth and alcohol, cleaning his wounds. He groaned at the pain, in complete regret of starting that fight. I had to take off his shirt to clean the shoulder wound, exposing all the hickeys I had placed on his chest. I wrapped his arm and shoulder in white bandages.

"Thanks, I'm gonna head back to my place." Dal got up, walking out of the house.

"Wait," I followed him outside. "What if you get caught by some more socs, do you want me to come with you?" I asked concerned for him.
