Atharva woke up with the first light of dawn filtering through the window, blinking away the remnants of sleep. As his vision gradually cleared, he was met with the comforting sight of Kasika cuddled closely against his chest, her face nestled into the crook of his shoulder.
Atharva couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over him. He took a deep breath, inhaling the gentle scent of her hair, a tantalizing blend of flowers and warmth. the warmth of her body pressed against his, the steady rhythm of her breaths.
Atharva gently stroked Kasika's hair, his fingers dancing lightly across her silky locks. As her eyelashes fluttered, a sign that she was slowly waking up, Atharva mustered the courage to whisper,
Atharva gently woke her up and said, "My love, it's time to wake up. The sun is rising, and a new day has begun."
When she woke up, she found Atharva gently kissing her collarbone. Her eyes widened in surprise, and a shiver ran through her body as he traced his fingers down her neck. It was a gentle and tender gesture, but one that left her feeling breathless and wanting more.
"I couldn't resist the sight of your beautiful neck," he murmured. "It's like you're just begging to be kissed."
While hiding her face in his chest, she muttered playfully, "You're shameless, you know that?"
Atharva chuckled softly and gently cupped her chin, lifting her face up to look at him. "Yes, I am," he confessed with a grin. "I am shamelessly in love with you."
"And I cannot control myself when it comes to you," he continued, his eyes locking with hers. "Jaadu kiya hai apne mujhpe"
Atharva gently nudged Kasika, his voice carrying a mix of affection and urgency. "Vase" he said, "hame bura nhi lag raha yu apko apni baaho mai rakhna. Parantu aaj hume Kuldevi ke mandir jaana hai, toh uth jaaiye meri titli." His words were spoken softly, both a request and a term of endearment, as he ran his fingers through her hair.
(Well, I don't feel bad holding you in my arms. But today we have to go to the Kuldevi temple, so get up my butterfly.)
Kasika stirred slightly, blinking awake as she processed Atharva words. There was a hint of disappointment on her face at the thought of leaving the cozy comfort of their embrace, but there was also an understanding
in her eyes. Reluctantly, she extracted herself from his arms and sat up, stretching her limbs with a small yawn. "Are you sure we can't stay like this just a little longer?" she asked, a playful smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
