As Luna declares her intent to leave and return to her home, frustration wells up within me.
I can see the stubbornness in her eyes, and I know it won't be easy to convince her to stay.
My jaw tightens, the muscles tensing with the effort to hold back my own anger.
I exchange a glance with Pedro, silently signaling him to handle the situation.
He sighs, his expression resigned, and steps forward, placing a gentle hand on Luna's arm.
Pedro's offer to drive Luna home breaks the tension slightly, giving us a momentary reprieve from the heated argument.
I relax my grip on the armrest, a mix of relieved and resigned. "Fine," I say, my tone still carrying a hint of authority.
"But make sure she gets home safely." Pedro nods grimly, his eyes reflecting a mix of concern and determination.
"I'll take care of her," he responds, his voice firm.
As Pedro and Luna leave the room, I take a moment to gather my thoughts and calm the wave of emotions swirling within me.
The room feels almost eerily quiet now that their arguments have subsided.
Across the room, Lilliana continues to read her book, her presence a calming influence.
I take a deep breath and refocus my attention on the papers in front of me, trying to shake off the lingering tension.
I push myself away from the desk and walk over to Lilliana, the soft sound of my footsteps echoing in the room.
I take a moment to just watch her, studying the way her eyes move as she reads, her expression focused and engrossed.
The sight of her brings a sense of comfort and warmth to me, and I can feel some of the tension dissipate.
I gently caress her shoulder, a silent gesture of love and affection.
"Hey" I say softly
Lilliana looks up as I address her, a soft smile spreading across her face.
She sets the book aside and turns her attention to me, her gaze warm and full of affection.
"Hey yourself," she replies, her voice tinged with a hint of playfulness.
I can see the depth of her love in her eyes, and it grounds me, reminding me of what truly matters.
I lean down and press a gentle kiss to her forehead.
"Your really enjoying that book" I say
Lilliana smiles warmly, her eyes momentarily lifting from the book to meet mine.
"I am," she replies, her voice filled with genuine enthusiasm.
"It's a great story, full of suspense and love." She holds up the book so I can see the cover, a sense of excitement in her expression.
"I couldn't put it down. Have you read it?" I shake my head, feeling a faint smile pull at my lips.
I glance at the clock, realizing it's getting late.
"Hey," I say to Lilliana, my voice gentle. "Why don't you go get dressed? We'll have to head out in an hour."
Lilliana nods and sets her book aside, a soft smile on her lips.
She stands up and moves towards the dresser to begin sorting through her clothes.
I take a moment to appreciate the way her body moves, the graceful fluidity of her gestures.

1 Hour LaterAs we settle into the car, the engine purring softly, Lilliana turns to me, her curiosity piqued.
"Where are we going, Marco?" she asks, her voice laced with a hint of curiosity.
I flash her a small smile, a hint of teasing in my eyes. "It's a surprise," I reply, deliberately vague. "You'll find out soon enough."
"Can I get a hint" she says in a pleasing tone.
I chuckle softly at Carina's question, amused by her eagerness. "A hint?" I muse, my voice carrying a hint of playful teasing.
"I suppose I could give you a hint. But it won't be anything too revealing, otherwise it wouldn't be a surprise, would it?"
I pause for a moment, enjoying the sense of anticipation in the air.
"Well, let's just say that it involves a bit of adventure," I finally reply, keeping my tone cryptic.
