34 seconds. That's how long Eli lasted on the field. 34 seconds. Derek was carrying Eli into the locker room whilst Harper and Josh followed after them. "Dad, put me down! Please put me down." Eli told his dad. "You said you couldn't walk." Derek reminded his son. "I can hop." Eli retorted. Derek let Eli down gently, causing Eli to quickly hop over to the bench and sit down. "Ow." Eli groaned. "You almost had that shot." Derek told his son, putting his hands in his pockets. "No, I didn't." Eli grunted whilst shaking his head and taking deep breaths. "Yes, you did. I saw it. You were right at the goal. You're better than you think you are." Derek told his son."I was in for less than a minute-" Eli said but was cut off. "34 seconds. He was in for 34 seconds." Harper interrupted. Eli gestured to Harper. "I was in for 34 seconds. I got the ball for a second and I got knocked on my ass and I twisted my ankle. It wasn't anything. Luckily, Josh managed to grab the ball and make the shot." Eli replied bitterly whilst gesturing to his ankle and Josh. "Eli..." Josh said. "It was nothing." Eli whispered. "It was something. Me and Harper were watching Coach and he saw too. You're good. You're really good." Derek reassured his son, sitting down next to him. Harper sat down on the opposite side of Eli.
"It it makes you feel better, I thought you weren't gonna last that long." Harper said teasingly. Eli glared slightly at Harper, who smiled. "I'm kidding. What I'm trying to say is that next time you'll be in for over a minute. And then you'll be in for over five minutes. And so on and so on. Soon enough, you and Josh will be co-captains, telling everyone what to do. You just gotta believe you can do it. Because if you can't, you may as well give up now." Harper told Eli. "And if you can heal, you can play tomorrow night, and you can help them win. The first step to transforming is healing, but you've got to be willing to learn." Derek told his son. Harper then got a sudden feeling wash over her as she looked at Eli.
"Get down." Harper told Eli. "What?" Eli asked confused. Harped turned her head and saw Allison with her bow aimed at the three. "Get down!" Harper shouted, pushing Eli down as an arrow came flying towards him, imbedding in the metal locker behind him. "Run! Run!" Derek shouted at the three teens and watched them rush out of the locker room. Allison loaded her bow again and shot just as Derek pushed a row of lockers, blocking the arrow. Allison dropped her bow and grabbed her Chinese ring dagger. She twirled it around in her hand before running at Derek, who blocked her attack as the two started fighting.
Derek dodged and blocked Allison's attacks before he slammed Allison into the locker, roaring at her before seeing her face, making Derek eyes stop glowing in shock. "Allison?" Derek asked. Derek was then pulled away from Allison and Derek almost fell in shock. "Leo?" Derek whispered. Leo kicked him away before elbowing him in the face. He grabbed his own Chinese ring dagger and threw his arm out towards Derek, who quickly blocked it with his hand. Leo grunted before letting his eyes glow and transforming. He growled at Derek before using his wolf speed to swing his dagger at Derek.
Derek then roared, gaining strength, throwing Leo across the room, making him slide against the floor as Derek quickly ran out of the locker room. Leo pushed himself off the ground and Allison grabbed her bow and shot an arrow hitting Derek in his neck artery. Leo pushed the lockers away from the door, creating a bigger gap as him and Allison walked towards Derek slowly, who had fallen to the ground grunting as he chocked trying to crawl away from the two. He then turned on his back, facing Allison and Leo, placing his hand over the wound on his neck. Allison pulled back on the string of her bow, aiming it at Derek, letting the arrow go.
As it was going to hit Derek, the arrow was caught by Liam, who roared at Allison and Leo. Allison quickly reloaded her bow and shot again towards Liam. Only this time, Hikari stood in front of him blocking it with her shoulder as the arrow dissolved because of her powers. Allison turned to Leo. "Your turn." Allison told Leo, who nodded. Leo looked at Liam and Hikari before humming. The song went into Liam and Hikari's ears, causing them both to go into a trance. "Freeze." Leo told the two, causing the two to freeze. "What the hell?" Hikari asked. "Liam?" Scott's voice called out as he and Malia ran down the hall towards them. "Let's go." Leo told Allison and the two quickly ran out the door that led outside.
