Lydia, Harper and Scott were in Scott's truck driving through the woods, going to meet Malia and Alice. When Scott parked, Harper saw her aunts stood waiting. She grinned before rushing out of the truck. "Aunt Malia! Aunt Alice!" Harper exclaimed happily as she hugged both her aunts. First Malia. Then Alice. When Scott didn't get out of the truck when he saw Malia, Lydia looked at him and then looked at Malia before scoffing. "Oh, for the love of god. Come on." Lydia told the alpha. They both climbed out of the truck and Lydia rushed over to Malia, hugging her tightly. Malia awkwardly patted her back. "Oh! I've missed you!" Lydia squeezed Malia smiling."I missed you too." Malia said, her voice holding a hesitant tone. "No, you didn't." Lydia replied with a fond smile, pulling away from the hug. "Ok. I wanted to." Malia admitted. "Well, that I can believe." Lydia sassed before approaching Alice and hugging her. "I've missed you as well." Lydia said. Alice hugged Lydia back tightly. "I missed you too." Alice said back. Scott approached Malia cautiously. "Hi." He said awkwardly. "Hi." Malia said back, her face practically void of emotion. "It's good to see you." Scott spoke. "It's kind of awkward to see you." Malia said bluntly and honestly, making Lydia, Alice and Harper sigh and roll their eyes. "I know." Scott nodded. Malia seemed to snap back to her regular self before starting to walk into the woods.
"Ok. Let's go find a tree in the woods." Malia said before entering the dense woods. "Come on! You said we need to find this thing by nightfall!" Malia's voice echoed. Alice wrapped an arm around Harper before the two walked after Malia, Lydia and Scott following after them. "Does your mom know what we're doing?" Scott asked Alice, who nodded. "Yeah. I told her everything after I asked about resurrection rituals. And according to her, this is the easiest one that doesn't require a sacrifice." Alice told Scott. "How many rituals require a sacrifice?" Harped asked curious. Alice sighed. "Too many, Harper. Too many." Alice said.

The group, being guided by Malia, were still walking around the woods. "We're one hundred percent lost right now." Harper told Alice through her mind, causing Alice to chuckle. "Oh, definitely." Alice replied. "Mm. Ok." Malia told herself. She kneeled down on the ground and sniffed before getting up and starting to walk left before turning to walk right. "Ah! It's this way." Malia said. She then turned in another direction. "It's this way." Malia repeated. She then stopped and looked around annoyed. Scott then perked up and Lydia noticed. "What is it?" She asked. "Someone's following us. They've been following us pretty much the whole time." Scott told the group, walking backwards towards a large tree.
"Who?" Lydia asked, grabbing Harper's arm and pulling her behind her back. "Come here!" Scott shouted before grabbing someone from behind the tree. "Wait. Wait. I wasn't doing anything! Sorry!" The person exclaimed. "Eli?" Harper asked shocked. Eli looked up at the voice of his third cousin before seeing the rest of the group. "It is you." Eli mumbled standing up. Harper grinned before approaching him and hugging him. Eli hugged her back. They pulled away and Eli sighed. "JOSH! YOU CAN COME OUT NOW!" Eli shouted. Josh stepped into view and Harper examined the second male teen. "Hey." Josh greeted. Lydia looked at the teen confused. She knew who Eli was but didn't know who the second teen was.
"Josh. Stiles's son." Malia clarified. Josh waved awkwardly with an uncomfortable grin. "Wow, you've gotten really big." Scott said, looking at Eli. "Yeah, it's probably because I was only three the last time you saw me." Eli rambled. "What are you two doing out here?" Scott questioned the two teens. "Well, I was busy sleeping when Eli dragged me from my bed, telling me he wanted to walk around the woods." Josh informed the adult. "I didn't drag you out of your bed. I pulled his bed cover off him before pushing him off the bed." Eli corrected. "Because that's any better." Josh said sarcastically.
