social studies class was boring as usual.

Yamada sensei was a great and kind teacher, but her lectures were always tiring. there was always so much work to do in class, and equally amount of work to do outside of school.

so when the Yamada sensei let them pack up and wait by the door for the bell to ring, Asami was glad.

she was standing, gazing at the clock when one of the other students asked.

"hey Asami, how's your day?" it was Jinta, one of the tallest students in the class.

he was nice-looking, with curly black hair and dark eyes.

"it's great, I'm tired and ready to get out of here," Asami chuckled. she had just finished her math exam the previous class just before.

"it's a Friday after all," Jinta smiled.

"I'm glad that we have a study after this," Asami remarked, "you're in the same study as me?"

"I think so," Jinta said as the pair made it towards the classroom just next door.

Jinta immediately went in as Asami stopped him.

"there's still students in there, Jinta! wait," Asami said, "they're packing up, so let's wait outside."

"alright," Jinta said.

"so what are you planning on doing for your social studies project?" Asami asked Jinta.

"essay," Jinta replied, "and I've already started planning on it."

Asami's eyes bulged open, "you do know it's a freaking 6 page essay right?"

Jinta chuckled at her adorable reaction, "I know, but it's better than drawing something."

"yeah, I was considering making a graphic novel," Asami said, "but I'm now stuck because it's hard to get all of the information into one book."

"or you could do the art portfolio," Jinta suggested, "it probably would be easier, but I suck at drawing, as you know."

"I've actually never seen you draw before," Asami replied.

"in the last semester, I think I drew some horse and it looked ugly," Jinta chuckled.

"well, I don't remember, so you'll have to show me some time," Asami said.

finally, the students cleared out and the duo entered the room.

"the teacher isn't here yet," Jinta whispered, a bit more hushed because their study teacher was always very strict about being quiet.

"I know, hopefully she's not here," Asami replied, "then we can just leave."

"yeah," Jinta replied.

but then Ran came in with another girl.

he came towards Asami and sat down on the desk next to her.

there was a very awkward silence.

"hi Ran," Asami smiled.

"hi Asami," Ran replied.

"this is the worst place to be right now out of the whole school," Asami whispered, "our teacher is very strict and stern."

as if on cue, the sensei came into the room.

to be honest, Asami forgot her name because she just calls out the attendance and shushes them to be quiet.

"you should get out of this hell," Asami whispered, "bye Ran!"

"bye Asami!" Ran waved as he exited out with the girl.

when they were out of the classroom, she saw him talk and chat happily with the girl.

she sighed.

they were probably just meant to be friends.

and then she continued to talk to Jinta.

"my goal is to finish this," Asami pointed at her homework on the computI acer, "I'll let you know my progress, even though I probably will procrastinate."

Jinta smiled, "you will finish it."

finally, the sensei let them out early as the duo eagerly walked out of the classroom.

"I actually finished my homework," Asami beamed, "no procastinating on YouTube this time."

"that's good," Jinta said, "which way are you going?"

"that way," Asami pointed, "my bus is always at the front."

"I'll come with you," Jinta said.

"so you have a sarcastic, joker, and an annoying bee as friends?" Asami laughed when Jinta told her about his friends back in the US.

"yep, that sums it up," Jinta replied.

he could hear her laughter all day.

"that's my bus," Asami pointed, "so I'll see you on Monday, Jinta! have a great weekend!"

"you too, Asami!" Jinta called, waving at her before the two parted ways.

I think this book kind of turned to my life, because this is exactly what happened to me.

and the best things always happens on Fridays.
