I was on my way to the main gate when I saw her, walking towards me while checking her phone. So I've to see her face everyday now? Just because my brother married her bestie? I was cursing universe, suddenly she bumped into my chest and to resist her from falling, I held her wrist immediately. Her slim yet strong wrist felt smooth like silk. She opened her eyes, they turned honey-brown because of the sunlight. An urge to dwell deep inside those fiery brown eyes captured my mind. I felt like the moment we locked our eyes, I lost a part of me. She gulped harder making me gulp too because of those sharp collar bones. She stood straight in another second, initiating a full stop on my sinful thoughts.

I jerked off my hands from her wrist after realizing Mishti's presence. I gained my fucking senses.

"Sahi samay par aaye ho. Meet your lawyer for the case. Ms. Radhika Gaur." These words left Baba Sa's mouth and le

How could he choose such an unprofessional lawyer? I never doubted his choice but this time I'm sure, ki ye humein hi jail bhijwa kar manegi. She left without even saying a thanks, not that I want to hear. Not only unprofessional, ungrateful too.

I approached Baba Sa in his study room.

"Why she?" I questioned.

"Why not she?" He questioned back.

"She's unprofessional, we can hire top most lawyers of India then what's the need of a newbie?" I answered plus inquired, controlling my rage. My head was about to burst anytime soon.

"Unprofessional? What makes you think of her like that?" He asked while turning the pages of some novel.

"It's...It's the way she speaks, the way she overreacts and the way she tries to stand against me." I replied, nonsense.

"None of them makes her unprofessional. Stop being judgmental, if you don't know how to judge. She wasn't overreacting Aaditya. For you, killing people may be normal but for her, it is NOT. And I have appointed her for the case exactly because she stood against you. She'll handle this case, That's it!" He exclaimed, dominantly.

"This case is related to my company so you can't appoint anyone to handle this. I'm the boss and I'll find the suitable one." I retorted.

"Let me remind you, I'm the investor in your company and I think your company won't be able to face sudden financial crisis. Rest is up to you!" He replied.

"I'll step out of your company if you disobey me. Tumhe toh uss ladki ka shukraguzar hona chahiye ki uske aage tumne kisi ka khoon kar Diya aur usne complaint nahi ki."

Memories of that night and my warning flashed infront of my eyes making me smirk. Nah Baba sa afterall, she can't see sharky dead.

"Fine!" I said and left for the office.
