" Who said I was going to give this to him? " She quired while pushing it towards him.

" But aren't you his wife? " He pushed back only to face resistance.

" You are his brother. " She stated.

" You are his wife. " He emphasised gripping her wrist.

" You are his brother. " She too highlighted the word brother and grabbed his wrist.

After a while of going back and forth on who is going to go into the tiger's den, they decided to play a round of stone, paper and scissors to select the sacrifice.

" Ok, then it's decided. We are going to have a try game before the real one and whoever loses, will go. No best of three or five. " He explained.

She nodded and balled her fist. " Let's begin the game then. "

They assumed their forms and the try game began. Siddhartha faced defeat as his scissors lost to Navya's stone.

Ok, now that I lost this game to her I can plan my next move and seize the victory. Let's see... She showed stone and I scissors, so now she would think that I would show stone in the next game. This means that she would show paper next and if I show scissor, I win. Contented by his master plan they got ready for the finale round.

Even if she shows a scissors the game will draw and the chances of her showing stone again are slim so that means I would win and... I lost. He looked at his hand which was open, imitating a paper while she celebrated her victory in background. Why the hell did I even waste my time thinking when the stupid me was going to show a paper?

Drinking his bitter tears, he got ready to sacrifice himself. Hesitantly knocking on the door, a chill went down his spine when he heard Shrey's voice.

" I don't want to go in. " He mouthed, looking at Navya who was standing to his right.

" You lost fair and square. " She smiled and opened the door.

" Are you planning to stand at the door all night? " Shrey asked as Siddharth just stood at the door not stating why he was here for.

" Oh... Sorry. I just didn't want to distrub you. " He stepped forward while Navya stood hidden, eavesdropping their conversation. " Here... I made some soup for you. " Hesitantly he placed the bowl down as Shrey stared at him, for it was not always that Siddharth did something for him unless he wanted something. " Heard you were going to stay up late, so I brought you a little something... " He added hesitantly. " And I am sorry for the things I said this afternoon. "

Shrey turned back his attention to his work and motioned him to leave, not saying anything. He quitely left the room and closing the door behind him whispered. " I highly doubt that he is going to drink that. "

His worries were for naught for Shrey drank the spiked soup and got late for work the next day. Navya and Siddharth highly enjoyed the scene of him running around the house, yelling, getting more annoyed by the passing minute.

" I don't know why but I am feeling so calm right now. " Siddharth said, his eyes following Shrey out of the front door.

" Me too. " Navya said sipping her customary morning coffee.

In the next few days, this type of occurrence became frequent. Shrey would do anything to either Navya or Siddharth and coincidentally enough he would either oversleep the day of an important meeting or sleep in the middle of his work. Overall in a span of less than 20 days, he was spiked a total of seven times.

After getting spiked for the fifth time he caught onto things that seemed suspicious to him. And to clear his suspicions and make sure that what he was thinking was right, he let himself be spiked two more times.
