On December 24th, 2017, Geto released thousands of cursed spirits across Tokyo and Kyoto. While sorcerors fought off these curses, Geto himself went to Jujutsu High in Tokyo to obtain the Rika, the Queen of Curses who was at that time bound to Yuta Okkatsu. After a vicious battle, Yuta was the victor and Geto's life was lost at the hands of his best friend, Satoru Gojo.

	It has been a few days since Geto's passing and Unik's heart was still aching from loss and guilt. After Unik left Geto's group, she used the money Geto had been giving her as an allowance to stay in a hotel. During Geto's release of thousands of curses and his battle, Unik did what she could in the shadows of Tokyo to help out Jujutsu High sorcerers. She protected innocent people while making sure she was not caught by the rest of Geto's family or by her brother who was in a rush to finish off Miguel. Approaching the crepe shop Unik had no idea what to expect, she was too tired to think about having spent the past few nights crying and getting little to no sleep. She sees Miguel sitting on the outdoor patio in front of the crepe shop. He looks tired from fighting her brother. Unik is glad that Gojo at least spared Miguel's life.
