As the sun rose over the shimmering Hudson River, you found yourself lost in the familiar peace of your morning jog through the quiet park. The golden light danced on the water, creating a mesmerizing view that always managed to captivate you, no matter how many times you'd seen it. Even after moving to TriBeCa, you had fallen head-over-heels for that amazing view of the river—a small consolation for the less-than-ideal apartment you could actually afford, with its windows facing the nearby buildings instead of the great waterway.

Despite the lingering effects of last night's one-too-many mojito drinking, you were determined to sweat out the remnants of your hangover before it hit you fully. The rhythmic thud of your feet against the pavement, the gentle sounds of the river, and the solitude of the sparsely populated park calmed your senses. It was a sanctuary, a place where you could escape the chaos of city life and find a moment of tranquility.

Your mind wandered, replaying the events of the previous night and the frustrating encounter with your neighbor, Jeon Jungkook. Just thinking about him stirred a mix of emotions within you—annoyance, anger, and an unwelcome flicker of attraction. You quickened your pace, trying to outrun your thoughts.

But then, as if conjured by your very thoughts, a familiar, tattooed arm caught your eye just ahead. Of course, that annoying neighbor of yours would be out here, you thought with a huff of frustration. The guy seemed to have a knack for showing up wherever you went. Still, you couldn't help but take a long look at his silly physique, your gaze tracing the toned shapes of his muscular calves and the teasing hint of his thighs peeking out from beneath those dumb Bermuda shorts. This was the very first time you had the opportunity to see his legs, and god damn, they were fucking muscular. He was looking annoyingly attractive, and the knowledge that he was totally off-limits only seemed to make him more appealing.

You were so caught up in your stealthy staring that you failed to notice as he slowed his pace and turned to face the river, raising his phone to capture the view. It wasn't until he slowly turned in your direction that you realized he had caught you staring. Panic surged through you, and in your haste to look away, you ended up running directly into another unsuspecting jogger, sending you both tumbling to the ground in an embarrassing heap.

"Are you okay?" the person you crashed into asked, their voice filled with concern as they helped you untangle from the awkward pile.

"Yeah, I... I'm sorry, I was distracted," you said quickly, brushing the dirt off your clothes and glancing around to see if Jungkook was still there. To your relief, he was gone, hopefully without noticing your clear staring.

You took a deep breath, trying to steady your racing heart and quell the embarrassment that burned on your cheeks. You couldn't believe you had let yourself get so distracted by Jungkook, of all people.

A hand appears in your line of sight, and you look up to see a very handsome man offering to help you up. His pale skin and long, dark hair give him a special, almost magical beauty that leaves you momentarily breathless. His eyes are deep, captivating pools of mystery. "Let me help you," he says, his voice smooth and soothing, like a gentle breeze.

"Thank you," you say, gratefully accepting his help. As he pulls you to your feet, you can't help but notice how his muscles move under his skin with a fluid grace. Up close, he's good-looking—no, he's not just good-looking, he's fucking gorgeous, even more than you first realized. His presence is almost otherworldly, making your heart race. "Sorry about that. Are you okay?" you ask shyly, feeling a bit flustered under his intense gaze.

The man gives you a wide, happy smile. He has the cutest gummy smile that makes his eyes crinkle at the corners. "I'm fine, don't worry. I'm Yoongi, by the way. And you are...?"
