Mila is laid in Meredith's bed, cuddled up to Cristina pretending to be asleep as Meredith sat at the end of her bed on the phone with Derek.

"Derek, i don't know. It isn't just a visit. She's 'back' back. It's only been two nights. As long as she needs. I mean, she lost someone. She's been through some stuff. I think she just needs her friends. She doesn't want to be alone." Meredith said.

"I don't think Mila wants to be alone either. She only just realised Lexie died and she's a wreck, she's never gonna get over it." She sighed.

The last two days, Mila hasn't been herself. Lexie dying hit her like a truck, it broke her. She was a wreck and Meredith didn't know what to do to help her.

"Brain Danziger, seventeen, he passed out in first period English." Stephanie starter, passing the chart to Alex as he and Mila walked over to a boy groaning in pain.

"Severe abdominal pain, tremors, and he's hypertensive. His parent are on the way." She informed.

"Brain, were you drinking this morning? Did you take anything?" Alex asked, looking over his chart as Mila rolled his gown up to press on his abdomen.

"No, i don't take drugs. God! What happened?" Brain asked.

"He's distended, and he's got tenderness in the right upper quadrant." Mila said.

"Does he look jaundice to you?" Alex asked.

"A little. Brian, i'm gonna need you to lie back down, please." Mila said, guiding his head and shoulders back down to the bed.

"I... oh." She pulled her hand away from his head and noticed hair in the palm of her hand. "Alex."

"Uh, all right. Make sure you get LFTs, COAGs, a tic screen, and an abdominal CT." Alex ordered.

Stephanie nodded, writing it down in her note pad.

"Edward's, what do you think this is?" Mila asked.

"I think... I'm sorry. I don't know." Stephanie shook her head.

"That's all right. We don't either. For all we know, this kid could have dry rot." Alex said, sending Mila a look before walking away

Mila rolled her eyes. Alex had asked her to try and persuade Meredith into fixing some things in her previous house so he could buy it after Meredith had said they already agreed on her selling it to him after he begged her to.

He also had the decency to convince her to permanently move in with Meredith as she stays with her five nights out of the week and he thinks 'two days doesn't make a difference'.

Sure, Mila was mainly at Meredith's but she didn't like the fact that Alex tried to kick her and her daughter out then ask for a favour to do with the house.

She's lived in that house since the start of her internship and she wasn't gonna stop living there now just because Alex Karev wants to shack up with a million interns without having her walk in on them and disturbing them.
