"alright cool.. just let me know when you get here" I hung up the phone and went back to setting up this photoshoot for my client
I haven't really gone out of the house yet but i still needed to work, so Nova and I turned one of the empty rooms into a little studio last night
Speaking of Nova, she's still in bed sleeping.. it's still pretty early so I didn't bother waking her up.
The first 2 days after being discharged were the hardest, we basically argued the entire time.. I know it's my fault that Nova feels the way she does about Brii but I don't know how to fix it..
I rubbed my neck, forgetting that the brace was there. My arm doesn't bother me at all in the cast, but not being able to move my neck is what gets me.

I slid my phone in my pants pocket and went to unlock the door.
Standing outside the door was a tall, lightskin woman who looked no older than 21. She had her natural curls out in a sort of updo
"Heyy how are you?" I said, gesturing her to come in and leading her to my little studio
"I'm good, a lil nervous though" she explained "what happened to your neck and arm?"
"i was in a car accident." i replied keeping it short and to the point
I let her get her outfit together and left her in the room so I could check on Nova
She was still sleeping peacefully and she looked so beautiful.. how did I get so lucky
I grabbed two waters out the fridge on my way back to the studio
It felt good to get back to doing what I love, even if my space is limited. I'm just grateful to be alive and walking honestly
"Alright let's get started" I said as I handed her a water
"I'm excitedddd! This is my first ever professional photoshoot" she went on and on about how excited she was

"oh my god these look amazing!" Jasmine did a little dance as I showed her the pictures I'd taken so far
I pulled my phone out to check my notifications and seen a few messages from Nova
