I was on the shop's rooftop, sitting quietly as the zombies stumbled below me in the small lot infront of the store.
Since I've been gone, multiple of the infected have gathered at our base which means we'll have to leave soon if it gets to clustered. I even saw a zombie that was walking with half of its organs hanging out of a hole in its stomach which made me gag.I raised my gun to eye level and aimed at one of the zombies closest to the doors. I pulled the trigger just as someone called my name.
I jumped which caused the bullet to hit the one of the truck windows. The glass shattered to the pavement and I turned around, glaring at whoever ruined my shot and caused us our truck's window.
Wesley gave me a sheepish smile and walked over to me, sitting down on the roof edge."Did you have to scare the shit out of me? You just made me shoot the window to the truck."
"Sorry! I didn't know you were aiming at that exact moment, I just saw you up here so I decided to join you."
I frowned, giving him an annoyed look. I turned my head back to the zombies below us.
"You know, if you wanted to be helpful you could've brought your gun up here.""Sorry jeez. What's wrong with you? Please don't say your PMSing."
I rolled my eyes.
"Why does every guy assume that a chick is PMSing when they aren't in the mood to talk?""Well its not my fault that when a chick's junk starts bleeding most of them turn into a demon."
I raised my eyebrow.
"Seriously?""What! It's what our health teacher always used to say."
I hide my face in my hands and shook my head.
"Please don't bring him up, as if he wasn't a pervert already.""Hey its not like he's still alive. Now he can be a dead pervert!"
Wesley smiled at the thought of our health teacher being a walking corpse that peered up other zombie's skirts."Listen maybe he didn't try and make out with you in the locker room but I sure as hell can't say the same thing for me."
He put a hand on my shoulder.
"It's not my fault fat sweaty guys love you Autumn."I gasped punched him in the shoulder causing him to burst out laughing.
"And it's not my fault horny Chihuahuas love you Wes!" I said as I put my hand on his shoulder as well.I was referring to the time where Rosanna's dog tried to basically rape him while we were at her house.
I really regret recording that moment.Wesley frowned and turned away from me as a shiver ran down his back.
"Never bring that up again."I flashed him an amused smile and turned back to what I was doing before he came out here.
Looking at my surroundings and shooting things that were already dead.I raised my gun and pulled the trigger on a zombie who was to close to the truck for my likings.
She looked a bit younger than us but I wasn't too sure. She was wearing a bloody Cowboys jersey and jeans that were torn more than mine.As the bullet shot her in the side of the head, her body jerked back and slammed against the truck.
I grimaced as blood splattered against the back window.
Great. One broken window and one covered in blood.Wesley tilted his head and stared at the back window.
"You know...it sort of looks like red paint was splashed on a canvas, to represent the hard times of our lives now when the people we love turn against us and death occurs all around."I gave him a strange look.
"That was some sorta deep shit Wes."He smirked.
"I know I try."
