"I've been waiting, Lucas." Luke told me, him and Calum would go bowling and come home before 11 tonight. Calum came home at 11, but Luke didn't show up. Calum said he'd gone to a club and he'd be home soon. About 5 hours later, Luke arrived.
"I'm tired, let's talk tomorrow." Luke walked past me.
"I think you forgot about what we talked about when the twins were born. You screw up once, we all leave." I promised myself that I wouldn't ever take the kids away from Luke, but he doesn't show me any respect.
"Leave then! I'll visit whenever." I don't think he understands.
"If that's what you want." I went to the room and started packing.

bowling night (before Mary & Luke started fighting)
"Can we go to a club this is boring?" Luke threw his bowling ball down the alley before sitting at the booth with me.
"But won't Mary get mad?" I took a sip of my drink before going to hit my pins.
"No, we'll be home before 11." Luke started gathering our things.
"Okay, but if she leaves not my fault."

"Luke! It's nearly 11! We should go!" I yelled over the loud music. I was sober, but Luke had a shit ton of drinks.
"Why? Does he have a girlfriend?" The blonde bimbo that Luke was with talked.
"And 2 kids who will leave him if he doesn't come home!" I rolled my eyes at her.
"Who cares about them! She won't leave him!" The brunette hugged Luke tighter.
"Fine! Ask those two to take you home! I'm leaving!" I left the club and started waiting for a bus.
at home
"Luke isn't with you?!" Mary jumped at me.
"No, he's at some club and doesn't want to come home. I took a bus here." I walked to my room.

"That's the thing, Dad. Luke wanted me to leave. I couldn't stay with Mom because he'll always visit, so I had to stay with you." I'm currently with my biological father. I asked if he would pick us.
"I see your point, but did you call your Mom and Step-Dad before coming here?" My dad set his coffee on the coasted.
"Yes. They both said I could stay here for a few weeks and go back to them when Luke stops trying to visit us." I took my juice and drank some.
"Okay, that's fine with me. I'm heading to work now, sweetie. Have fun and be safe." My dad kisses my forehead and heads out the door.
I hear crying so I head upstairs to my old room.
"Caden, shh now baby. Momma's here." I carried him and swayed a little bit to make him sleep.
My phone went off.
Mary, please tell me where you guys are! I didn't mean it when I told you to leave!
I put Caden down and answered Luke.
No, ur an asshole. And don't use that dumb "I was drunk" excuse. A drunk man's words are his sober thoughts!
Luke: BUT MARY!
NO FUCKING BUTS! I gave you so many chances and you blow all of them! I hope you're happy now! Get drunk all you want, bitch.
Luke: you won't let my kids grow up without a father! I know you.
