Is bridezilla a term?

Well, if it was then it should certainly be a perfect description for Faith. The same Faith who was a sweet little woman was now surging havoc.

The very morning when my phone rang, I wasn't expecting a call from her, I was enveloped in the warm embrace of my soft bed, dreaming beautiful dreams.

But then, a distressed voice of hers greeted me through my phone, when I pressed the answer button, she insisted to meet me in the afternoon, saying she was a mess because she couldn't find the right bridal dress and if I could help her to find one.

So now here I was, reclined on the couch in the dressing room where Faith was trying dress after dress, and yet, she couldn't find the perfect one.

" How I am looking?" I lifted my head at hearing the feminine voice.

Faith stood in front of me adorned in a beautiful dress. The white satin dress was well fitted from the upper body, the long sleeves embellished to the elbow with frills at the end, and ruffles cascaded down the bottom, sweeping the floor. It looked elegant. Her brown eyes shone with the mirth and then at the moment, it was decided that, this was the dress she was looking for, I was certain, nothing would be able to compare to the magnificence of this dress at the wedding. She would be the brightest star in the sky, as she should be.

" You look absolutely amazing, Faith." I said, still failing to avert my eyes from her dress.

" When my gaze fell on this dress, I knew this had to be the dress. I feel so pretty."

The bright smile on her face was evidence of the happiness she felt. Soon, we purchased the dress and left the place, Faith appeared more relaxed than she had been when we arrived here.

"Can we stop at the antique shop, please?" She asked, as she kept the bags in the car's back seat.

"Antique shop?"

"Yes, actually Oliver likes antiques and I want to gift him one for our wedding."

"Okay sure," I said, and she drove to the antique shop. The ride was silent and comfortable. When I first arrive at her house, I was quite uneasy, as we weren't well acquainted but spending time with her took me at ease. She was a funny and very over-energetic individual, she has a smart mouth and wit, I loved the way she talks, it was just like you are under a spell.

Shortly, we reached the shop. The shop was a short distance from the store in which we went for dress shopping.

The exterior stunned me with its imperial appearance, it looked ancient and made of aged wood. We wandered through the door, and a wistful whiff hit my nostrils, apprehending me into the olden days. Commodities in-display appeared grandeur and fascinating, giving a true sense of authenticity and distinction from modernism.

The archaism of this place reflected on the man who was heading toward us. He had a long mustache and wrinkled face, and a very polite smile on his lips.

" Faith, it's been long since you came and where is Oliver?" He asked, as he approached us.

"Jared, it's been only a couple of weeks and Oliver is at the office." She smiled.

"My bad, you see I am getting older and this head can only remember so much."

Faith glanced at me.

"This is Emerald, my friend, and Emerald this is Jared, Oliver's friend's dad and owner of this place. Oliver often comes here to purchase articles."

" This place looks beautiful," I said, looking around in awe.

" Thank you, lady. Now tells me what brings you both here today?"
