Chapter 12: The Arrival at Dupont

                                    

                                          
Joe went back to his house with a bit of a curiousity towards Ladybug and Chat Noir, two of Paris' superheroes he just meet.
He thought about it for a while before sleeping but one thing is for sure, his first full day city, aside from his first day in his new school, would be very exciting for him.
The next day, he arrived at the Collége Françoise Dupont high school with excitement as his new principal greets him with joy.
"Welcome, Mr. Gibson!," Principal Damocles welcomed him. "You must be the principal of this school. My old principal recommended me towards you right?," Joe asked, curious about his admitsion.
"Yes, your principal recommended you to me.," Principal Democles answered before intoducing himself. "I'm Mr. Denis Damocles, the principal of Collége Françoise Dupont High School, but you can call me either Mr. Damocles or Mr. Principal."
"I prefered you calling Mr. Damocles to avoid confusion to my old principal.," Joe make a choice right away.
"Good. Now, I introduce you to your class and your new school.," Mr. Damocles concluded. He then guided Joe to every single place around the school before introducing him towards the room of his new class.
"This would be your new classroom.," Mr. Damocles ended the introduction tour. "You should wait for your classmates while roaming around the room."
"Thank you, Mr. Damocles.," Joe thankfully said before Mr. Damocles left the room.
For minutes, the Filipino roams around the room, curious about every single details the room has towards his old classrooms in Batangas and Austin. It's been like it for more than 30 minutes.
And that 30 minutes before class was enough for some of his new classmates to arrive. Joe went to the door to welcome them, some were confused that they have a welcoming classmate while other were thankful that the Filipino opened the classroom door for them.
But at the same time, he thinks about Marinette, his new found friend from yesterday. He don't know if he's classmates with her or not. Before he could think about it however, his new teacher arrives, so Joe went in between the door and the teacher's table.
"Good morning, ma'am!," Joe greeted. "Good morning! Are you new here?," the teacher asked. "Yes, I am. Mr. Damocles just introduce me here.," the Filipino responded.
He might be nervous but he was good about it. Calm, cool, and collected emotion shown.
"Say, is this my new room?," Joe now asked. "Yes, as the principal told me.," the teacher answered before introducing herself as Caline Bustier.
"I'm Joe Gibson from Austin, Texas in the United States but I'm originally from the Philippines. Nice to meet you, Ma'am Bustier.," Joe calmly introduced himself.
"Nice to meet you, Joe. Can you wait for a while? Almost everyone is here.," Caline gave Joe a favor and the Filipino agreed.
Joe waited for a few moments until everyone of his new classmates arrived one-by-one. Some welcomed by the Filipino himself while waiting.
But a certain someone arrived late in the time sheet got a little clumsy upon entering the classroom. Someone that Joe knows very well from his arrival in the city yesterday.
