I honestly didn't feel bad about what I said to Jerome. But now I feel like I look like an asshole. Maybe I was wrong for saying that. God, I hate how he does this to me without even knowing it.
Later, we were standing in the dining area again. Theo was talking about how he wanted me and the boys to hit the GCPD, just for a teaser or something. I didn't argue since this may be my only chance to see Jim. I raised my hand.
"What about Gordon?" I asked.
Theo smirked, raising a brow. "That's where Barbara comes in. Since she and James have a strong history, I figured it would be the best option."
Jim has been searching for Barbara ever since they escaped Arkham. He would follow her like a dog.
My eyebrows raised as soon as I realized what the plan was. Theo smiled at me. "Get it now, I see." He said.
Sick bastard. He wanted to get Jim out of there just so he wouldn't get in the way of Jerome. I had to warn him somehow. Fuck.
I sat down at the table and munched on some snacks. Then Greenwood walked over towards me. I glared at him while chewing some strawberries.

****JEROME'S POV****
I walked to Theo, with a sharp glare in my eyes.
"What about her?" I asked. He stared at me.
"Well, she'll do the same thing you'll do." He stated. I shook my head.
Behind us, Greenwood snatched Laura's snacks and stuffed them in his mouth.
"My God- YOU FAT FUCKING PIG!!!" She yelled in the distance while throwing a bowl of apples at him.
I closed my eyes and smiled. Then I opened them again, staring into Theo's eyes. "I know she has a special part. I want to know what it is." I said lowly.
"Jerome, I don't see how that concerns you-"
"It concerns me because I need to know if there's a chance she'll get hurt, when and by what." I said, interrupting him.
Theo licked his lips, sighing. He re-balanced himself, stepping forward, closer to my face.
"You do not control me, Boy. Don't utter in my face as if you are the one who broke me out of that Madhouse." He growled.
Yeah, I knew who I was messing with, and I knew the risks. I don't care. Not a lot to care about, is there? Laura is the only thing keeping me from killing everybody in this room.
I sighed, crossing my arms.
"Fine. I just want you to know, anybody hurts her...and I don't get to them? That's on you." I said lowly. He smiled at me.
"Agreed. Such a gentleman for a woman who tries not to want anything to do with you." He spoke. That was out of no where.
"I can't just let go of her like that." I said.
"Well, why not?"
I stayed quiet. He softly smiled and placed his hand on my shoulder.
"Women can be...hard. Stubborn, even. The best thing you can do for her is have patience. There's no point in rushing something you don't even know exists yet."
"Are you talking about love? Because if you are, then you're full of shit."
He got off of me. "Oh, Jerome, don't be like that. We both know I'm right. You're so in love with her that it's blinded you. It's making you sick, hate yourself more every hour that passes by. Trust me, I was there once. But I learned to-"
"Can you shut up?" I asked not so politely. I was tired of his ranting. His eyebrows raised but his eyes did not leave mine. His stare turned into a deadly glare. I don't care. Wait- Yes I do.
"S-sorry. Just a little stressed out" I stuttered.
"Jerome. You are walking down a very dangerous path both for you, and Laura. Turn around, and leave the room." He said sternly, but calmly.
I scratched the back of my head and stepped back a bit. "Can I ask why you reeled her into this? She's throwing me off."
He shook his head and smiled. "She's a special perk. Nothing more than a toy. A plaything."
Well, that pissed me off.
I shrugged. "Alright then. Tomorrow: GCPD. Right?"
"Yes. Pull yourself together and get your mind straight." He said.
I don't like him.
Turn around he says. Leave he says. I feel like I'm being used. This isn't right. But I don't have a choice now do I? If I would've lasted just a little bit longer with my mother like Laura said...fucking hell.

****LAURA'S POV****I slowly opened the window to my bedroom. I bent over to peek out. Then I heard a low, grumbly voice.
"Goddamn...." Jerome muttered. This guy...
I gasped and quickly turned around.
"Fuck! What's the matter with you?! When did you get in here and haven't you heard of knocking?!"
He smiled and chuckled. Then he hiccups.
"I like when you get mad, doll. It turns me on." Then I stared at him and squinted, my eyebrows furrowed.
"Are you fucking drunk?" I asked.
He sipped his stupid beer and smiled again.
"Maybe a little. But there's no difference between sober me and drunk me." Childish.
"You're horny as fuck."
"Stop saying fuck. Its annoying."
"You also have a short temper, not alot of fucking patience."
"I SAID KNOCK IT OFF!" He yelled. I stared at him, eyes shining in the light. Oh. He's that drunk. Okay. I can do with that.
I walked towards him and climbed onto his lap, grinding my hips against his.
"Don't get mad at me. I don't like it when you're mad." I whispered in his ear. He started to blush but his facial expression didn't change.
"You know...when you're drunk, you're also horny as fuck. I can tell." I said while trying to get comfortable on his lap. His stare was extremely sharp. Almost dangerous even.
"But extremely vulnerable." I said before hitting him hard in the face and knocking him out. I stared at his now bruised jawline.
I'm so sorry beautiful jawline. I'll be back for you!
I snuck out the window and closed it behind me, leaving it unlocked so I could get back in later.
