-Sakuramura High School, Outside of Student Council Office-

The discussion I had with student council regarding the my proposal for card games club turned out to somehow came into fruition as the vice president, Momoka Kasumi, is willing to give my club a chance under one condition; I have to succeed on my upcoming duel against one of their members, Hoshikawa Senka. Senka is very nice towards me, even introducing me to the council as a whole. I am going to repay her by treating her into a memorable duel!

However, the same can't be said for my "spirit guide", Merrli. She seems to be aware that Vice President Kasumi might be up to something, while continuously trying to warn me about it.

Merrli: "Edwin, are you sure that you are going to do it?"

Edwin: "I don't think you need to ask again, Merrli. This is the chance that I must not waste at all! If I could own a card game club, then this would further contribute to my goal to protect ourselves against those nasty Kashtira duelists if everyone works together."

Merrli: "I kind of have a feeling that that you might as well trust the wrong crowd. Didn't you detect an intense dark aura coming out from that vice-president lady the moment you were at her presence? She could as well be one of the Kashtira duelists that you, I mean we are trying to stop."

Edwin: "You must have imagined stuffs, Merrli. I don't think either her or other council members are involved in any of those shenanigans. They are all very nice to me, especially Senka-san. Don't worry about it!"

Merrli: "That's when I worried the most. At that time, she responded to you only in her cold and unexpressive tone. Didn't you suspect a little thing or two from her?"

Edwin: "Merrli. You need to stop exaggerating. Kasumi-san might be strict, like Chelsea-san said. But I don't think any of them has any degree of evil intent."

Merrli: "Sigh... you really are straightforward one, aren't you? Well... Just be careful and keep yourself from harm. That's all I got to tell you for now. Good luck, Edwin" (disappears)

Merrli vanishes into thin air, but not before warning me about the possibility that the student council might be hiding some obnoxious secret. Honestly, she exaggerated a little too much. All that I saw was warm and friendly greeting shown from every single of the members the moment I stepped inside, even if Kasumi-san was a little strict about establishing my own card game club. However, I don't see every reason for them to harbor ill-intents towards me. Why should Merrli be worried, anyway?

Suddenly, Alice stands up by the front door of the student council office. Instead of properly greeting me, she quickly grabs my hand and drags me away from the student council office to somewhere much quieter. What's the deal with Alice this time to be honest?

Edwin: "Oh. Hello Alice. Why are you doing here?"

Alice: (Grab Edwin's hands and Drags him around)
