I got into the car after hugging Helga tight.
"Take care, you." I said. She smiled and nodded. "You too. Don't do anything shitty." I laughed. "Can't promise anything." I smirked.
She got into the cab and smiled at me. "Take care, Cora." I nodded. She drove away and I smiled, butterflies in my tummy.
I pulled away from the apartment and I headed down south. Caleb smiled at me and placed his hand on my thigh again.
"Caleb." "Shh." I giggled. He squeezed it tight and I bit my lip. "Stop, baby." He laughed and turned around to see Elora playing with her phone.
"Happy to go back to Oklahoma?" He asked.
"Well, yeah. I miss it a lot."
"I think it's better we enroll you in a different school?"
"No. I really liked my old one. I could meet my bully too."
"If you start liking him, I'm gonna kill him." I said.
"Gross." I chuckled. "That's what I said about Caleb and look at us." Caleb rolled his eyes. "Don't be so mean, Coco." "Please, you started it." I smirked.
"Well, I guess we gotta find a house. We still have a few in our savings. We can buy it off."
"Or...we can just rob a bank." Caleb said. I grinned.
"If we were still suspects I'd do it." "Hmm." He smirked. "Don't tempt me baby." He laughed and squeezed my thigh again.
"What am I here for?" He asked.
I chuckled and I grabbed his hand. "You're supposed to stop me from doing reckless things, sweetheart." "Fine." He kissed my hand and I smiled at him.
"So what are we gonna do when we get there?" El asked.
"I got big plans." I smiled at her, driving back home.

We stopped at a motel and I got us a room. We climbed up the stairs and I opened the door. I sat down while Elora rushed to the bathroom.
I sighed.
"I'm not even gonna mention it." I said, staring at her as she rushed in. He laughed and sat next to me.
"You're amazing. You did great." I smiled and I leaned on his shoulder. I locked my hands with him and I sighed.
"I wouldn't be here without you, Caleb. You've really helped me so much I can't even thank you enough. And I love you so much. I'm grateful."
He smiled. "You do the same for me, Cora." He kissed my head and I smiled. I laid down on the bed and he laid next to me, cuddling me.
Elora walked in and she rolled her eyes. "Do you not like...keep your hands off each other?" "No." We answered in unison.
"I'll take the couch." She said. "What? No I will." Caleb said.
"No, the plug point is closer. There Isn't any over there." I stared at her and I smiled. "Suit yourself."
She walked into the other room and I laid down on his chest again.
"You okay baby?" He asked. "I'm okay. Are you?"
"I'm more than okay. I'm happy for you." I chuckled and I kissed his jaw. "I can't imagine an alternate reality of this. It would be a mess."
He laughed and I could feel his body vibrate. His laugh was melodious and I couldn't stop listening to his voice, to his words, his touch and his kisses.
