"Fuck." I whisper, looking in the mirror of the bathroom and running my hand gently over my skin.
I think Scar might've gotten a bit carried away last night.
There's bruises all over my neck, and I have no clue how on earth I'm supposed to hide them before school. They're visible enough that people will notice, and the last thing I need is for people to start making up rumours about who gave me these marks.
"Are you alright in there, my darling?" Lizzie asks, knocking on the bathroom door, "We have to leave in a few minutes."
I unlock the door, opening it to see her stood there with a small smile. Her eyes widen when she notices the bruises on my neck, clearly shocked that she hasn't already noticed them this morning.
"Baby? Come here." Lizzie shouts to Scarlett, gently reaching her hand out to touch my neck. I wince a little at the slight pain, it's not too bad but it definitely hurts a little.
However, I can't say that I regret what happened last night. That was fucking amazing.
"Sweetheart, I thought you said we had to leave-" Scarlett stops herself mid-sentence as she sees the marks on my neck, even more surprised than Lizzie was.
"Wait, did I do that? I'm so sorry, my love, I didn't realize it was that bad." She says softly, and I can almost hear the concern in her voice.
"It's okay, it doesn't hurt badly or anything. I'm just wondering how on earth I'm meant to cover them up."
"I'll help you out, baby, we have to be quick otherwise we'll be late." Lizzie tells me softly, grabbing her makeup bag from the shelf and opening it up.
She sits me down on the toilet seat, kneeling on the floor whilst getting out some foundation from her bag. She gently applies it to my neck, trying to at least cover most of it so that I don't get bothered by it all day. Afterwards, she does the same with some concealer whilst Scarlett puts our bags and everything in the car.
"Alright, how does that look?" Lizzie asks me, the both of us looking in the mirror.
It isn't too bad, I can still definitely tell it's there but unless somebody is actually paying proper attention, I don't think they'll notice.
"Thank you, you're a lifesaver." I chuckle.
"Anytime, my love." She smiles, pressing a soft kiss on my lips.
I put my shoes on quickly as she tidies up the bathroom before we both meet Scarlett in the car. The both of them get in the front seats and I get in the back, just because it'll be easier for me to hide if anybody from the university sees me.

"And then after we went to the cinema, he told me that-" Aurora cuts herself off, her eyes glancing down at my neck.
"You okay?" I ask, taking another bite of my sandwich.
"Izzy, you've got bruises all over your neck." She whispers, "Don't tell me they're from-"
"Okay, okay." I say quietly, "Maybe we got a little carried away last night. Are they really that obvious?"
"They're not..incredibly obvious."
"Oh for fucksake." I chuckle, "Thank god it's only you that's noticed."
"Give it time." Aurora smirks, "So, which one of them got a little too playful last night?"
"Do you need to know absolutely everything?"
She laughs, "Actually, I've changed my mind, I probably don't want to know."
"Good choice." I tell her, finishing off my sandwich.
It's lunchtime, and I'm pretty happy that nobody except Aurora has noticed the marks on my neck. I've only got one more lecture until I get to go home, but I know that I should probably finish off that essay that Miss Johansson asked me to complete.
"What do you wanna do later?" I ask, "And please do not say let's go to a party, I do not need one of those hangovers again."
"I have an exam I need to study for so I think I'll probably do that. What about you?"
"I've got half an essay to write." I tell her, rolling my eyes.
