"I remember once asking Geto-san why we can't leave it all to you," Nanami stated, flinging one arm in the air.

"Afterall, you never cared about sorcery or protecting people. You were in the game because you got a kick out of it," continued the man. Azura's sunglasses dropped a little to her nose as she pouted, more in embarrassment of the revealed truth.

"Truth is, we've all thought that about gojo-san! But we couldn't bring ourselves to say it out loud!" Said Haibara cheerily. "Why are you bringing it up now then?" Nanami scolded as Haibara muttered a sorry sheepishly.

Nanami started, "Well that feeling about you.."

"Was just proven right by your actions a second ago," finished Geto. "Can't say I approve, but I do sympathize. It was a fitting way for you to go out," Nanami stated with a close eyed smile.

Azura groaned. "Yeah yeah, thanks," she muttered sarcastically. "And how do you feel about your demise?" she continued, with a bit more concern.

"Mei-san once said, if you want to be someone new, go north. If you'd like to return to who you once were, go south"
Nanami calmly answered while pouring his drink. "Back then I didn't hesitate moving south. I've always been someone who loves looking into the past, so I found it ironic when I died betting on the future. As for final moments.. it wasn't too bad. So I'm grateful to Haibara." Nanami finished his story. Haibara chuckled with a shy smile, "You're too kind."

"I see," mused Azura Gojo before shouting at her former principal, Yaga over the other bench. "Hey principal! I thought you said no jujutsu sorcerer dies with any regrets!" Yaga face palmed, as though thinking his only regret was having Gojo in his school.

"I've decided," Azura declared as she stood up. Everyone's attention was on her. "I'm leaving for the north."

Nanami replied, "I'm not surprised really, but the future is uncertain there."
"I'm aware! However.. it's not right.. for me to be here. Hopefully, we meet again, even if it is after an infinity!" Azura smiled, and maybe it was a real smile this time.

'Nanami..

Yaga..

Haibara..

Riko Amanai..

Suguru..'

I won't live to regret this decision. Ever. Whether I'm the strongest or not, this time, I will save the ones I care about. That is.. if I do get anyone to care about.'

'Now I'm hoping this isn't a dream..' thought Azura, as her body laid cut in half, blood oozing from her mouth. She was in severe pain. Standing from her lower half stood Sukuna, the king of curses.

"Mahoraga's adaptation can start only a single attack then it slowly starts to analyze and it's completion is only a matter of time. If it receives another identical attack during that calculation period, the adaptation accelerates. Once a technique is adapted to, the analysis doesn't stop there, it keeps adapting further. What I wanted from Mahoraga was a model. A model of how to test through your infinity. After first adapting, mahoraga was altering the essence of it's own cursed energy in order to nullify your infinity."

Azura listened thoroughly, though she was fading away. Sukuna kept going. "That was something I was unable to do, so I waited. I waited for it to discover another adaptation that could counter your infinity, one that I could use. The second adaptation was exactly what I anticipated, but it couldn't send slashes flying as I do. It was expanding the technique's target."

"The intended target wasn't just you, Azura Gojo."

"But space, the world, existence itself. It targeted everything before unleashing those slashes. Your infinity meant nothing, as long as it existed within that space, that world, it would all be torn apart. It was a near impossible technique to pull off. But the model proved to be quite effective."

Sukuna proudly smiled. "You did well Azura Gojo. I won't forget you for as long as I live." Azura closed her eyes after hearing that, with a small smile on her face. Her story here was concluded, only to begin again.. in another world.
