"YOU BOTH ARE GOOD FRIENDS." Meredith slurs from her hospital bed.
"You're so high right now." Maddison chuckles, eating her chips.
"Actually, you guys are my best friends in the whole entire world." Meredith continues.
"Now, I just feel sorry for you." Cristina replies.
"Why? Cause I could die today?" Meredith asks.
"Oh, my God. Drugs make her chatty." Maddison laughs.
"This is why I hate being around stoned people." Cristina tells them.
"If I did die today, I'd only be remembered as the slutty intern who dated two doctors." Meredith continues.
"One doctor. One vet." Cristina corrects.
"Derek, Finn, Derek Finn." Meredith rants. "I'd die as the girl who couldn't make a choice, right?"
"Probably." Maddison shrugs.
"But none of that matters cause you'll be dead." Cristina adds, as Liam, Bailey and George walk in.
"Dr. Grey, you've got a fever, high white count." Liam tells her. "And tenderness over McBurney's point which suggests..."
"Appendicitis." Maddison, Cristina and George immediately chime.
"Appendicitis..." Meredith slurs a little slow.
"Dr. Bailey, who's my intern?" Liam turns to the resident.
"Dr. O'Malley, prep Dr. Grey for surgery." Bailey tells George. "You're scrubbing in with us."
"I am?" George asks, surprised. "For Meredith's appendectomy?"
"Uhh... Am I the only one who remembers last time George scrubbed in on an appendectomy?" Meredith asks. "He almost killed the guy. Sorry George."
"I don't have to scrub in, Dr. Bailey. I could just... uh..." George trails off, as he sees the look Bailey was giving him. "Unless you want me to... not going to happen again."
