Obviously Freddie didn't go to school, so the group had to sit miserably at Jim's "shrine" that the school had made him.
"They should have had us make it," Veronica whispered to the rest of them, as they stared at the horribly made memorial.
It looked exactly like it was made by a high school PTA mom. Cheap remembrance cards with bad pictures that they printed from the yearbook, in which none of them make Jim look happy, because none of them had Freddie or any of the gang in it.
But the worst part? It was fully decked in horrible plastic golden candles. Everywhere. They weren't a symbol of hope or peace, and the school colors were blue and silver. And yet, everything had a gold candle next to it. All it looked like was the demon part of a horror movie.
Liz couldn't bear to see the spray painted pieces of plastic any longer, and she was so upset from the situation that she stood up and ran out of the school, completely ignoring the protests from the faculty."Liz...LIZ!" Brian ran out the doors behind her, watching as she passed the school gates and stormed in the direction of her house. She stopped and turned to Brian, and he finally noticed the tears streaming down her face.
"Liz.." Brian tried to say, but he was cut off.
"He was eighteen, Brian. EIGHTEEN! And someone decided to go ahead and shoot him. He didn't deserve this. He got into fucking Harvard! Did you know that? He was about to go to an ivy league school and he fucking died. And what has he done to deserve this? Jim was the... IS the sweetest person in our friend group." She crumpled up the remembrance card and shoved it in the pocket of her leggings.
"They give us these cheap cards and cover the place in candles, but what is that going to do? Bring him back? NO!" She wiped her under eyes just so the black mascara lines that had been streaming down her face would go away. Brian slowly walked towards her and encased her in a hug. She squeezed him back, and he could feel her tears seep through his shirt. He didn't mind.
"I-I know it was Amanda," Brian muttered through her hair, "But I need proof."
"You...You really think she shot him? How?" Liz whispered. She backed away, her eyes wide with fear.
"Well, to start, she had nowhere else to go one night so she showed up to my house drunk with a death threat and a gun. I know it's her."
"You didn't tell me that.." Liz had tucked her hands into the middle pocket of her hoodie, and Brian could see that she was twisting them around. She did that a lot when she was stressed.
Brian took her hands in his to help her."How did she get out of the house in time? What about fingerprints? And-"
"I don't know," Brian cut her off, trying to soothe her. He cupped his hand on her cheek and let her face fall into his hand. He gave her a kiss and she shut her eyes and exhaled in response.
"We'll figure it out. Together. Ok?"
"Alright."
"Alright"

Hello my beauties! I'm watching Star Wars with my friend. She's reading Roger Taylor smut and I'm sitting here cringing. It's scary.I got socks with Brian's face on them and my friend got Roger Taylor socks and they look so silly. I love it!
IT'S ALSO BRIAN'S BIRTHDAY!!!
HAPPY 77TH BIRTHDAY, BRI!!!
Here are some fun facts I know about Brian:
He signed the back of a girl's shorts at the hot space album signing in 1982
He got his PhD for astrophysics in 2007
He has an asteroid named after him
He's a book author. (Not a fake Wattpad one like me. He wrote an actual book.)
He cheated on his first wife Chrissie for two years, before divorcing her and marrying Anita Dobson.
The song Too Much Love Will Kill You is about that little predicament.
He actually tried REALLY hard to be loyal and stay with his wife, but he loved Anita so much that he couldn't.
Well, thats all.
Love you!
Toodles!
