Arc 1 chapter:11 Mr. Lu is embarrassed!

                                    

                                          
In a high end bar.
Chen Yu opened the private room and looked at the person who was drank, currently embracing a young man in his arms and he kept murmuring something. As soon as he saw this his eyes darkened. He walked to that man and grabbed his wrist. 
He questioned, "Lu Zhan is this your important work?" 
There was not a trace of that meek and aggrieved expression on Chen Yu's face at the moment. There were only a trace of anger and coldness in his peach blossom eyes. He narrowed his eyes. 
Lu Zhan didn't answer but looked quietly at Chen Yu's face and said after a period of time but unfortunately what he said made Chen Yu's anger increase. 
Lu Zhan, " Pei Cheng are you back?"
Chen Yu said, "I'm not him!"
Even though they were together and Pei Cheng had long since gone overseas Lu Zhan couldn't forget his first love and ex. At first he got interested in Chen Yu because he looked similar to Pei Cheng. Later after many twists and turns in their relationship he finally fell for Chen Yu but... he could never forget his ex. He clearly said that he had forgotten about him and just loved Chen Yu. He said he didn't treat Chen Yu as anyone's substitute but Chen Yu knew that he treated him as Pei Cheng's substitute deep down. 
Chen Yu rudely made Lu Zhan stand and took him to his car while dragging. He roughly stuffed Lu Zhan in the back seat  and sat himself beside Lu Zhan. He said to the driver, "To the lakeside mansion" 
On the other side.
Xiao Bai and Lu Qi talked for a while. As they were comfortable with each other's company they didn't notice when it got late. After a while suddenly a call rang disrupting the comfortable atmosphere.
It was Lu Qi's call. Lu Qi apologised and glanced the caller's name. His eyes dimmed at the name. He stared at the phone till it automatically turned off and slowly stood up from the sofa. He said that he would get going as it was getting late.
If Lu Qi was to be honest he was reluctant to leave but he still left anyways. As soon as he walked out of Xiao Bai's gate his eyes dimmed a lot. Xiao Bai saw and found it amusing. Looking at the dejected Lu Qi Xiao Bai didn't know why but he immediately blurted out loud, "Lu ge!" 
He saw that as soon as his voice fell Lu Qi's eyes lit up as he immediately asked him what was wrong. 
It really wasn't an illusion. Thought Xiao Bai. Xiao Bai said under Lu Qi's expectant eyes, "If Lu ge doesn't mind giving me some of his precious time then can we have lunch together tomorrow?" In the end he tentatively added, "Its sunday tomorrow."
Lu Qi immediately said, "I don't mind!" His voice even rose by a few points. He stunned himself as well as Xiao Bai. Xiao Bai saw as Lu Qi deep eyes first widened and then immediately darkened because he thought that he appeared too eager just now. 
Xiao Bai couldn't help but chuckle. Hearing his chuckle Lu Qi's eyes darkened even more. This time it was not because of embarrassment but something else which neither Lu Qi nor Xiao Bai understood. Xiao Bai simply thought that Lu Qi was embarrassed but only Lu Qi himself knew. He immediately turned around and walked towards door. He opened his door and then... slammed it close. Xiao Bai couldn't help but chuckle again. 
It seems that Lu Qi was embarrassed. Xiao Bai thought.
He went in while humming. He was in a good mood now. 
Lu Qi, after closing the door he walked to his bedroom. His steps were light. He was in a good mood as Xiao Bai has invited him to lunch. As the saying goes good mood doesn't last long. His phone rang again, he unhurriedly took out his phone. He saw that it was again that woman's call. He was irritated by the person who just called him. He received the call but he seems to be having some disagreement with the person on call. He got frustrated and cut the call then he threw his phone on the ground hard. His phone... obviously broke. After the call, the whole person who was in a good mood turned into a gloomy person. After a while he calmed down. He then looked at his broke phone and then sighed in his heart. He didn't bother with what that woman said anymore. 
On the other side. 
As soon as Xiao Bai got inside he got a call. He turned on his phone and found that it was a call from Secretary Lin. He answered the call. Secretary Lin immediately greeted him and said that he must start going to company from Monday onwards as there are many important works waiting for him. Secretary Lin said that he must not abstain again for a week and turning his phone off. Though Xiao Bai said that he understood but it was unclear whether he would do it again or not. 
Hearing his perfunctory reply Secretary Lin knew that his words went to Xiao Bai's one ear and then away from the other. He helplessly sighed and gave Xiao Bai a small nagging again.
After the call ended. Xiao Bai walked to his bed and... crashed on the bed and fell asleep.
