Zayaan's P. O. V

I am going through some important files when I get interrupted by my secretary. I look into her as my brows furrowed. "You know that very well, that I don't like to be interrupted." I started with a hint of anger. "I apologize for the interruption, but I am here to inform you that you have a guest who is waiting for in the lobby. Should I let her in?" My secretary spoke. "Who is she?" I queried. "Your death angel." A dead voice came from my secretary's back. We both turned around and my eyes widened as I saw the appealing figure standing on the doorframe.

"You can leave us alone." I said as I cleared my throat. "Please, have a seat." I invited her as I gestured my hand. "No, thanks. I am better off this way." She replied. "So, what brings you here?" I asked her. She took a deep breath and started, "How dare you, Zayaan? How could you hurt her?" My gaze falls down. "I am sorry." I said. "Sorry? After all that bullshits, now you're saying sorry? After hurting her? Hurting her when she was having thousands of insecurities? When she was facing loneliness? When she was struggling for good grades? When she was holding so much and still trying to be the best for you?" Tahmin screamed. "Congratulations, Zayaan. You failed as a man." She added calmly.

"I know I am a failure. And I have got nothing to prove myself. I know I can never get back her. She will never forgive me." I said. "Then why did you do that?" She asked. "I really don't want to see you guys like this way. I want you to be the most happiest couple ever. And I also want to know your side of the story. Will tell me?" She asked. I took a deep breath and told her everything. Everything.

Author's P. O. V

After hearing about Zayaan's past, Tahmin started, "I am really sorry for your loss." Zayaan gave a blank smile, "No, it's ok." He said. "Do you really want to be forgiven by her?" She asked. Zayaan nodded. "Before being forgiven by her, I think the most important thing you should do is move on." Tahmin added. "I can't." His voice cracked. "I know you can get through it, if you try. I know that moving on isn't that easy. It's a really hard process. But if you try once, you will see that you will get less and less sad about it. You cannot prevent the birds od sorrow from flying over your head, but you can prevent them from building nest in your hair." She stated. "To be honest, I tried to move on in the past but her memories never let me." Zayaan replied. "The truth is, unless you let go, unless you forgive yourself, unless you forgive the situation, unless you realize that the situation is over, you can never move on in life." Tahmin tried to explain. "But I don't want to forget Amyrah." Zayaan said miserably. "Zayaan, moving on is not about forgetting. It's about remembering without having awful feeling. And it's not a sin to move on. You still have time, Zayaan. You have enough time in your hand to solve everything. If you just work smartly, I am damn sure that you will be able to get her forgiveness and her love. And yes! Nobo Borsho is coming, I hope that this year you will really be able to let go of the past and embrace the new. Hope you understand what I meant." Tahmin said as she left Zayaan's office.

Before Zayaan and Tahmin's encounter.

Fabiha's P. O. V

I am sitting in the cafe waiting for Tahmin. And like everytime, she's again LATE! Why is she always late? I take a look at my watch and again to entrance of the cafe. After waiting for like half an hour, the queen appeared (sarcastically). She came towards me and took seat. "You're late." I stated. "Well, a queen is never late. It's just everyone is a bit early." She replied. "Queen my foot. Hurry up and place your order. I have already placed mine." I informed. She nodded and placed her order. Soon the food was served in the table. "So, how's your life going?" She asked as she munched her food. "Pretty normal." I kept short. The spoon from her hand slipped and it fell on her plate, she stopped munching her food and gulp it at once. She moved her chair a bit forward as he holded my hands, "Now tell me what did I miss?" She asked with a hint of concern. I know that she's already struggling with aviation. I don't want to make her life more hard so I replied, "It's really nothing." I assured her. But she didn't buy it. "You know very well that I am not that friend of yours who will call or text you all the time. Rather I am that friend of yours to whom you can rely on when the world collapses, right?" Tahmin stated. Her words gave the warmth, I was searching for. My eyes become glittery. I let out a sigh and said, "I just realized that I am that girl whom he got accidentally, I am not the girl he dreamed of." I said in a shaky voice. Her hold on my hands tightened. "Please don't say that." Tahmin said. "He doesn't love me." I said as tears stream down my cheeks. Her hold tightened. "Don't, Fabiha. Please don't say that." She pleaded. "I am just a deal to him. He married me only to fulfill his dream." I said as I fully broke. "Fabiha, hold yourself together. Please." Tahmin said. And then she embraced me tightly. Her warmth is the safest place I have ever got. The warmth I have been searching for. The warmth I needed. The warmth that will help me to get through everything.
