Hi, I've thought about this story and I think I have something.

When the Lioness shall lay down with the Snake, the Age of Purity will be over.

Severus thought long and hard about the sentence that came in a mysterious envelope with no signature. He had absolutely no idea if it was just another random piece of hate mail that was meant to actually confuse him or what. He ended up sending Bonks to inform Minerva to come down to the house at her earliest convenience. It took only an hour before she showed up. Severus was in the middle of bottling Calming Draughts for St. Mungo's.

"Severus, what's wrong?" Minerva asked as she moved aside so Severus could step into the living room from the basement.

He went over to the table where he placed the letter and showed it to her. She read it several times and each time looked more and more worried. "What could it mean?" She asked as she handed the letter back to him. Severus shrugged.

"I have no idea," he said, trying not to let the worry lace his voice. "I haven't even showed Hermione yet." He set the letter back on the table gently, as if it was going to blow up like Longbottom's cauldrons.

Minerva walked over to the couch to sit down. "I have an idea, but I know you won't like it."

Severus turned to her. "What if it's a prophecy?"

Severus rolled his eyes and sneered. "Then it needs to be burned," he hissed in disgust.

Minerva rolled her eyes as he stared at the letter. "Don't do anything rash, Severus," she scolded him as if he were a little boy again.

He grunted and went to sit beside her. "If it is a prophecy, then we need to let the Board know." He stared at the fire burning, thinking deeply.

Two weeks went by with no word from the Board of Governors. Severus had sent letters to nearly everyone to no avail. Finally, he decided to send a letter to Kingsley. It took only a day for him to get back.

Severus,

If you are right and that is a prophecy, then there is only one person it can be about. You and Hermione. We need to meet and talk about things. Come to my office tomorrow at lunch and we will try to get you reinstated as Headmaster if the prophecy is truly about you and her.

Kingsley

He groaned. He was not looking forward to going to the Ministry tomorrow. He sent a couple letters explaining where he would be tomorrow. One was to Minerva. The other was to Hermione. They kept in contact, him pretending to be her father.

Minerva told him to keep her informed. Hermione said for him to be careful. The next day he apparated outside the ministry entrance. He hated the entrance. As he entered the foyer of the Ministry, he saw a small stand selling Prophets. The man stopped mid sentence as Severus walked by. He continued on to Kingsley's office, avoiding all eyes staring at him.

"Severus," Kingsley greeted as Severus walked in the office.

Severus dipped his head to Kingsley and sat down in one chair. Kingsley pulled out Severus' letter and reread what he wrote. "I have no idea if this is a prophecy or not. However, I will ask this. Are you and Hermione together?"

He didn't respond. "You want me to incriminate myself after I was already cleared from those charges?"

Kingsley shook his head. "I am on your side, Severus. I just need some information. I won't repeat anything to the Board. I actually might be able to get you back into the school."

Severus thought about what was said for a long moment. "Yes, we are together. She's pregnant with my son."

If Kingsley was shocked, he didn't show it. "I'm happy for you. For now, I will do some research and talk to the Board about reinstating you. I know Minerva would love to have you back as Headmaster."
