There I sat again on a chair in the Library twiddling my fingers as I was being stared down by a pair of sapphire eyes that belonged to the albino boy in front of me, "So, Conny. What's happened?" Norman asked with a calm expression present on his face though I feel as if it was more of a command than a question.

I gulped looking up to meet his gaze making me pause for a moment then I spoke "I- Uhm.. What do you mean?" I inquired probably sweat dripping from my forehead, he kept his smile.

"Hm, you've been acting differently lately since a couple days ago. Everybody is worried for you." Norman smiled kindly at me but it didn't ease me at all, Norman wanted information I knew what he wanted. Ray and I have been together a lot recently to the point it's rather suspicious, I thought Don would catch on first but Norman noticing first makes more sense.

Damn it.. I should have known Norman was a big threat like Mama, he's very observant and smart he could figure things out easily. I remained silent contemplating my answer the longer I took the more sus I look.

"I-I have been having nightmares.." I blurted out a quick lie quietly, it sounded sort of childish but whatever I was panicking internally and struggling with my explanation. Norman stayed silent again and his eyes narrowed- fuck he knew I was lying! I knew it! I knew it-

"Is that what has been worrying you Connie? You should have mentioned it sooner." Norman said as I felt a hand pat my head softly- he bought it? I looked up at him slightly wide eyed but kept my composure luckily, he smiled a close eyed one getting up from his chair and towards the library exit.

"If you ever need any help Connie, we all are here." he said turning his head towards me. I thought for a moment before calling, "N-Norman.." I called in a whispery voice but he heard it and turned towards me smiling.

"Do you believe in Monsters?" I said quietly hoping Mama wasn't nearby to hear me, Norman tilted his head slightly as I continued. "D-Demons I mean.." I muttered meeting his eyes, I knew I got him hooked when I saw a curious glint in his eyes. I would know since it's the same look I would make when reading the Manga.

"Hm, not particularly. Why do you ask." he pried a bit, I hid my smirk at that deciding to get off my chair and walk past him.

"William Minerva makes good books.." I said while I walked past him his gaze following my figure when we both made eye contact that lasted a while, both of our blue eyes clashed as I left taking a sharp turn from the Library sighing in relief how that was now over-

"What happened." a monotone voice that I knew oh too well caused me to jump and look up and see Ray looking at me curiously like he was studying something fascinating, "Hu-Huh?" I stuttered out in surprise seeing him.

"What were you and Norman talking about." he crouched down to meet my eyes with a look of seriousness, they need to stop scaring me! My little heart can't take this Shit! "N-Nothing.." I responded probably sounding exhausted, which I was.

With all this big brain thinking I couldn't help but battle the constant headaches I was receiving from lack of sleep, every night for the past couple days I have been sneaking off the the library at night to find more William Minerva books as well as hiding places for rope. I have also used this to hide sheets in various places in the house which is information I have been withholding from Ray and Phil.

Ray didn't seem too convinced but I could care less, I just wanted to just sleep at this point, something I could only dream of- wait- no only imagine in this case. Ray muttered something under his breath tightening his grip on his book, surprisingly instead of prying like I guess he would he simply turned away and left.

I rubbed my eyes that likely had dark circles by now and followed him outside, it was currently free time and all the kids were doing random things. Phil was hanging out with Sherry, Emma and Norman were talking together- or whispering..? They seemed rather serious but that was a later problem, Don and Gilda weren't there and Ray was already reading under the tree.

I approached him tiredly staring at him for a moment as he looked up, "Brother... Can I sleep here?" I questioned yawning sluggishly. He closed his book examining my face- he must have noticed the bags under my eyes since his eyes softened a bit and he nodded looking away.

I sat down near him but not too close, I leant back onto the old tree. My mind went blank as my eyes fluttered shut allowing me to plunge into some needed slumber.

(3RD PERSON POV)

Ray stared at the blonde girl next to him in interest, he has always been able to solve puzzles and such. However he couldn't solve this one, Conny. The fact that she could talk and act like a child for quite a long time to then suddenly drop the act behind close doors, she was truly interesting.

At the moment he was trying to find a replacement for her, I mean hopefully. He hated to admit but he pitied her, no! He 100% didn't care about her- it's just uhm... Well she was use-Useful! Yep that's it. Useful.

Conny had information that he didn't know about and he knew it, she was collecting allies. Specifically Phil. They had entered the library together then only Phil came out, and Norman went in, then he left 10 minutes later with a complexed expression, then Conny left looking exhausted.

Everybody had noticed she hadn't been sleeping well, while Ray believed that she wasn't at all. He felt the lanterns in the library early this morning and they were still warm, which could mean anything but Conny was the only answer that made sense.

The ravenette sighed, he was narrowing her replacement down to one person. Jared obviously, in others words they would describe him as a 'Piece of work' and then there's Ray who flat out thinks he's a dumbass. Which is harsh for a kid but Ray didn't care.

He had a new mission and that was...

Finding a replacement...
