Zerenity rummaged through the closet, searching for one of his misplaced jackets, when his hand brushed against something peculiar tucked away in the corner. His curiosity piqued, pulling out a dusty box, its contents a jumble of rocks, seashells, and assorted trinkets. His brow furrowed in confusion as he examined the collection, looking at the assortments.
"Athos, what's all this?" Zerenity called out, holding up the box. Athos, who had been in the living room reading, looked up in surprise. "Oh, that's just my little collection of rocks and random objects." He replied casually, making his way over to Zerenity's side to inspect the contents of the box.
Zerenity raised an eyebrow, a playful smile dancing on his lips. "Your little collection? Athos, there are seashells, feathers, and even a miniature toy car in here?. he inquired, his eyes alight with curiosity.
Athos chuckled, a hint of embarrassment coloring his cheeks. "Well, each of these items holds a special memory for me. The seashells are from our beach trip last summer, the feathers are from our hike in the mountains with Philza's lot, and the toy car... well, that was something from my childhood." he explained, a nostalgic glint in his eyes as he picked up the toy car and twirled it in his hand.
Zerenity's heart swelled with warmth at Athos's words, a fond smile spreading across his face. "I had no idea you kept mementos like these. It's like a little treasure trove..." He mused, reaching for a smooth rock and turning it over in his palm thoughtfully.
Athos nodded, a soft smile playing on his lips. "Each of these objects reminds me of a special moment I've shared, a memory that I hold dear to my heart. They may seem random to others, but to me, they're special... " He confessed, his gaze tender as he looked at Zerenity.
Moved by Athos's sentimentality, Zerenity wrapped his arms around his husband in a warm embrace. "You're so cute sometimes, you know that?" Athos went red in embarrassment. "I could say similar about you, I suppose." Zerenity smiled, closing his eyes.
