As the days pass, Bandu and Expunged's curiosity about Bambari's past grows. One evening, as they sit together in the cozy living room, Bandu gathers the courage to ask.

Bandu: [tentatively] Hey, Bambari... we were wondering... if you're comfortable sharing, could you tell us about your past? You know, before you met us?

Bambari looks up from her coloring book, her expression thoughtful but not guarded.

Bambari: [nodding] Sure, I don't mind. I never had any family. I don't even know where I came from. I just remember being alone for as long as I can remember. I never had any friends, any siblings, or even any parents.

Bandu and Expunged listen intently, their hearts going out to Bambari as she recounts her story.

Bambari: [continuing] I learned early on that I couldn't trust anyone. So, I had to fend for myself. I snuck into the hotel and lived there, hiding out, because I had nowhere else to go. Until I met you both.

Bandu and Expunged exchange surprised glances, amazed by Bambari's resilience and independence at such a young age.

Expunged: [softly] That must have been so hard for you, Bambari. We're sorry you had to go through that. And at 7 years old too. You're so brave.

Bambari: [smiling softly] It's okay. Meeting you both changed everything for me. You showed me that I didn't have to be alone anymore. I used to think I didn't need anyone, but now I know I was wrong.

Bandu and Expunged feel a surge of warmth and love for Bambari, grateful that they could make such a positive impact on her life.

Bandu: [emotionally] We're so glad we found you, Bambari. You're a part of our family now, and we'll always be here for you.

Bambari's eyes shine with gratitude as she looks at Bandu and Expunged, her newfound family.

Bambari: [happily] Thank you, Uncle Bandu, and Parent Expunged. I'm so happy to be a part of your family.

And as they sit together, surrounded by love and acceptance, the bond between them grows even stronger, solidifying their status as a family forged not by blood, but by the shared experiences and the unbreakable bond of love.
