I felt so weak. I just couldn't stand to sit up. I could just barely open my eyes. I didn't even have a lot of energy to speak. 
                          
"Amy? Are you awake?" I heard Sonic ask me and hold my hand. I stifled a moan as a response. "Sonic, let her sleep-" Cream was cut off my Sonics growling.
                          
"Hey...I'm gonna be leaving for a few hours. You just rest up, alright?" Sonic smiled at me. I grinned and nodded slightly. I was in so much pain. I didn't want Sonic to see it. 
                          
"I love you, Amy." Sonic said and kissed my forehead. 
                          
"I..." I felt his finger on my lip. "I know, Amy, I know." He kissed me once more until his presence was completely gone.
                          
My muscles ached now. I hadn't even fought, but it still felt like my body had fought. I suppose it's tired from creating more blood, so I can live. 
                          
I was so bored. The only thing I could think of to do was try to sit up. I glided my arms across the floor and pushed up. I let out a small moan when I was halfway up. "Sis? Sis, you've gotta rest." Silver said and pushed me back to the ground. "But-" "no 'buts'" my brother said with a smile. "I've always wanted to say that." He grinned. "Butsssssssss" he extended the s sound for as long as he could. He broke into laughter a few seconds later. "Ha, butts" he laughed. He sure is the typical boy.

(Hours later)
                          
I don't know how long Sonic was gone, but as soon as he was back I was in his lap. He felt strangely warm for something dead. "Hey Amy? Any requests?" He asked me and kissed my temple and forehead. "Wh-what?" I managed to say. "Don't you like music? I'm gonna sing to you. Tails and Cream are repairing our house, so it's just us. Silver is asleep in the corner." Sonic explained to me. "Uh...Don't Be Shy?" I managed to tell him. 
                          
"I believe I heard it once. Correct me if I get something wrong..." He cleared his throat before he started to sing the song.

Even without the instruments, Sonic sung wonderfully. It was such a peaceful song. His voice only made it better. 
                          
"Why'd...you leave?" I asked him when the song was over. "I promised to go to Hell and get Fiona and Bunnie for the werewolves if they didn't kill you. They owe us now." He explained to me. I grinned and tried to flip to my side. "Sonic...you're so..." I couldn't get the last word out. "What? I'm so what?" Sonic asked. "Amazing? Outstanding?" He gloated towards himself. I giggled and tried to fall asleep. "Sweet...and caring." 
                          
Sonic stroked my head until I was completely asleep. I could still hear him humming as I drifted off to sleep.

(Next Day)
                          
I was able to open both my eyes all the way and I felt a lot better. Sonic was happy to see I was feeling better as well. "You don't know how worried I was! I wasn't sure if you'd live or not!" Sonic sobbed into my clothes. "I-I just wanted to keep you happy if-if...you left..." 
                          
"Hey, it's alright, Sonic. I'm...mostly fine." I smiled at him even though I still ached. "Hey Sonic? Can I go back to the house? It's kinda cold here." I stated and he looked around the room. We had hid in a small shack. 
                          
"Oh, right, of-of course." Sonic sniffed. "Silver, come on, we're going home. The house should be repaired by now." Sonic kissed my head as Silver jumped into my arms. "Oof!" I said and clutched my stomach as Silver had literally jumped on it. "Hey! Be careful with your sister! Do you know what she's been through?" Sonic hissed angrily at Silver. "Sorry Sonic..." Silver said and hung his head. I rubbed Silver back and smiled at him. "It's alright...I just lost some air is all." I lifted my head and kissed his nose. 
                          
"I love you, Silver." I smiled and Silver smiled back. "I love you too, sissy."

Sonic laid me down on the bed and put the blankets over me. "You want anything to eat or drink?" He asked me. "Sure, water and a salad, please." I smiled at him. Sonic smiled back and nodded. 
                          
Within a few seconds I had my food and water in my lap. I ate it while Sonic simply stared at me. "So...how...how did the battle actually go?" I asked him, knocking him out of his trance. "The battle? I...I'd rathe not say. It's kinda graphic." He said and rubbed the back if his head sheepishly. "Oh, well, what are we gonna do next? My killer moms gone, Scourge owes us, Khans gone which means Sally's probably gonna die, and Nicole is a normal so she can't hurt us." Sonic sat on the bed next to me. "I suppose you live for as long as you can. Then when you die we haunt this place together." Sonic told me. "Wait...won't I die old? Won't I look old? Won't that be strange?" I asked him. "No, you can change your appearance. I just like this body and age I died in. You're 18, right?" He asked me. "Yeah..." 
                          
"You'll probably live to your 60s and I can age up with you, if you'd like. Then we can age down once you die, you like that idea?" He asked me with a smirk. "Yeah, you think we'll ever get tired of each other?" I asked him. "Imposible for me. Ghosts don't get tired of their loved ones. They argue a bit, but we don't abandon them." 
                          
"What about Silver? I don't want him to become a boy that people find in an abandoned house. His name on a newspaper...it reads "Boy Found, Claims He Lives With Ghosts." Sonic laughed at that statement. 
                          
"I'm serious, Sonic! And he needs to go to school too!" I told him. 
                          
"School? Tails is smart, he can teach Silver."
                          
"Tails is 9" 
                          
"So?" 
                          
"Sonic, once this year is over I want Silver to go to school." I told him in a soft, pleading voice. He looked in my eyes and realized how serious I was. "Alright, alright, he goes to school. But what if he brings a gal pal or just a pal over? We can't tell Tails and Cream to abandon their friend. They love Silver, he's the only kid they've played with in a millennium." Sonic told me. "Then...can't we make...like rag dolls or something? That look realistic and the other kids wouldn't even know!" 
                          
Sonic shook his head. "Silver can't have friends over, but then again, he lives with his friends." Sonic smiled. "I suppose..." I said to him. 
                          
"Hey, Ames...look at me. What's bugging you?" He asked me. "I just told you." I pouted. "There's something else..." He said as he held my hand. "Well...what would happen if...if-and I'm saying in the future- what if we had a baby?" Both of our faces turned to a bright red. "I guess it would still work. Not sure if the baby would be a hybrid or not." Sonic said to me. "But you did say in the future, right?" He asked me. I nodded at him. "Of course, I'm only 18." I blushed and giggled nervously. 
                          
"I love you, you know that?" Sonic told me. I looked up at him and nodded. "Yeah, I know..." I smiled and rested my head on his chest. 
                          
"Are you still tired?" Sonic asked me. "Yeah, can you blame me?" I asked him. "No...suppose not...hey, let me see your neck." He told me. I removed the quills from my neck and he looked at it. "The wounds healing" he stated. Then I felt his lips on my neck. 
                          
"Sonic?" I giggled and squished up my neck. He chuckled and smiled. "Goodnight, Ames..." He said sweetly in my ear. "I love you~" I said in an singsong voice. It sounded creepy and sent shivers up my spine. "I love you more~" I said, in my own singsong voice. "I highly doubt that." Sonic said and we both fell asleep on the bed together.
