Yn:(rolls eyes) Jealous are we?
Asuka: I don't understand why they gave you an upgrade.
Yn: It's quite simple... It's because Faiz is just cooler than Kaixa.
Asuka: It is not!
Yn:(smirks)
Yn: See you later Rei.
He gives Rei a big kiss on the cheek, which surprises both Rei and Asuka. Getting up from the bench, Yn makes his leave.
Yn: Gotta blast!
Asuka:...
Asuka: Is it just me, or does that idiot seem completely wacky lately?
Rei:...
Rei:(shakes head)
Rei: There is a noticeable change in him. It confuses me.
Yn arrived upon a rooftop where Faiz Lady waited for him.
At first, there was just silence, nothing to hear but the wind and the miscellaneous city noises.
FL: I knew the Next Faiz gear would work with you, but you have thouroughly impressed me with how effortlessly you've adapted to it.
Yn:....
Yn: Yeah... I'm just the best there ever was or will be. Now...
Yn: Why doesn't anyone at Smart Brain know about Next Faiz?
FL: This new rider gear is top secret. The CEO, your father, doesn't even know about it.
Yn: How the hell does that work?
FL: Smart Brain is much bigger than what even your father knows it to be. SEELE is the only ones who vaguely are aware of us.
Yn: Sounds ridiculous, but I'll bite. Why tell me?
FL: It's time for a hostile takeover and new management of the face of Smart Brain.
Yn:(smirks) Are you saying what I think you're saying?
Later that night, Yn arrived once again late to his shared apartment. He had hoped that Asuka and Misato were asleep by now, however, his guardian was waiting in the dark for him.
Yn: Did you fall asleep after one too many drinks? Come on, let's get you to bed.
Misato: I'm not drunk.
Yn:(gasp)
Yn: Then I can guess what this is about... Late coming home?
Misato: I don't mind that. You're a young man. That's just natural.
Misato: But walking straight into an Angel's way without the Faiz gear?
Misato: And not telling me about this Next Faiz stuff...
Misato: It's a no go.
Yn:(tilts head) Isn't it your job to know everything about me?
Yn:(shrugs) Whatever...
Yn: Smart Brain approched with the Next Faiz gear. I had no reason to believe that you all didn't know.
Misato: And this "Faiz Lady"?
Yn: Part of Smart Brain. A shadow branch which "SEELE is only vaguely aware of" according to her.
Misato: SEELE?
Yn: No idea what that is... But what does it matter? I have a powerful new set of Rider threads.
Misato: I don't want you using the Next Faiz gear, until we know everything about it?
