hyunjin looked down at his lap, he doesn't think he can look at seungmin. “i think... you made me into a decent person.” he confessed and glanced at seungmin just to see his reaction.

seungmin kept quiet, as he tried to feel more comfortable about the way he sit. he open his mouth but not a single word comes out. hyunjin force himself to look at seungmin to play it cool, “how was that? not too bad?” he said, so their conversation didn't end just like that.

seungmin gulped, not wanting to face hyunjin. “im a little touched...” seungmin lied. he doesn't know he made hyunjin feel that way. “that that's how you think of me.” he said truthfully.

hyunjin chuckled and bring the straw to his mouth to feel something. he sip his sweet drink and put it down. why does the managers always give them sweet foods and drinks when idols are told to stay skinny anyway?

what do you even know?” hyunjin muttered to the most observant member in stray kids. he knows that he's correct. seungmin doesn't know about how much he loves him. nothing can change that. even with all of seungmin's wisdom, he still fail to notice the admiration and adoration hyunjin has for him.

hyunjin looks at him like he hung the stars out there and yet, he still looks everywhere but hyunjin.

seungmin laughed happily, “i like it when you're tired. it makes me happy. i just want to buy you bungeobbang and make you feel better.”

hyunjin laughed, his eyes turning into crescent moons.

it was late at night—actually, it was three in the morning.

the room was dark, the dorm was dark. hyunjin came over to bokseungah minho's dorm earlier because he got bored when three racha went to the gym, leaving him alone in the creepy dorm that smells like protein shakes and chicken breast.

minutes turn into hours. its already late at night, hyunjin decided to stay happily.

now, they're in seungmin's bed, side by side, staring at the wall. “im sleepy.” seungmin mutter. hyunjin's eyes widened, should he do it right now?

hyunjin latched himself onto seungmin's body and seungmin groaned, trying to get away from hyunjin which was unsuccessful. “whats with you treating me like an object for sleeping?” he grumbled, finally letting hyunjin crawl on top of his body under his blanket, hyunjin's eyelashes tickling his neck.

“seungmin-ah.” he said. seungmin put his hands at hyunjin back and finally, it felt right. “eoh?” he asked sleepily. hyunjin's warmth and scent made him feel dizzy—in a good way. the thought of him waking up smelling like hyunjin made his ears burn.

“you—do you ever think of what we would be if we weren't... this?” he asked.

that question made seungmin's throat dry. he's not sleepy anymore. “w-well... we're members, right now, uh, we're also bestfriends right now, right?” he asked. seungmin can feel hyunjin nodding on his neck. “huh, i don't know... we never fought, to be honest... i think i like it...this way.” seungmin felt really stupid.

“oh. really?” hyunjin asked.

seungmin kept quiet, not knowing what to say.

hyunjin took the chance to sleep and ignore his stupid move of asking seungmin a stupid question. seungmin's answer was expected. hyunjin wouldn't want them to be enemies. but he's also stupid for wanting so much more for the both of them.
