"Ashley hi." Ashley points between us. "Are you two on a date?" Shawn quickly answers. "No we're just having dinner as friends her parents are home and want a little bit of time to themselves." She laughs a bit. "Right you two are neighbors and family friends. Well, what can I get you the both of ya?" I point. "I want the bastard burger." She writes down my order and for you Mr. Mendes." The way she said that rubbed me the wrong way. "Please, call me Shawn outside of school." She smiles. "Right, I will have your orders out in a bit." I looked at him suspiciously. "What?" He asks. "Please call me Shawn outside of school." I mocked and he laughed hard. "Sounds like someone is jealous." I huff crossing my arms. "I'm not jealous." He raise a brow. "Really?" I hum, a smile slowly creeps on his face. "Ashley." He calls. She walks over her cheeks red. "Yes Mr- I mean Shawn." He grabs her hand. What is this bastard up too. "You look different, the uniform looks good on you." She blushes and smiles. "Thank you." He kiss her hand I grab him between his legs and squeeze. "Ah fuck!" He quickly lets go of her then glares at me holding himself. "Really? What the fuck is your problem?" I roll my eyes. "You started it." "Yea maybe so but you didn't have to grab me there, you could have grabbed me anywhere else but instead you grabbed me by the balls." He pinches my nipple. "Ow, Shawn!" "It's not fun now is it?... Storm? Storm baby what's wrong?" I feel weird I feel something happening. I'm too scared to figure out why. "Shawn, come with me to the restroom, please, now, right now!" He quickly gets up. "Ok, ok." We go in and I lock the door. "What's wrong baby?" I'm shaking. "I need you t-to look between my legs tell me what do you see? Shawn?" He quickly picks me up in his arms and rush me out. "Ashley cancel order here is a tip for the trouble thanks." He gets me in the back of the car so I can lay down. "You're ok baby, you're going to be ok, our baby will be ok, ok? Everything will be ok." His hands are shaking on the steering wheel. "Shawn, I'm scared, would if-" he stops me. "No, don't say it, don't say what I think you're about to say. You and the baby will be ok, there has to be an explanation. I'm calling your dad." I get scared. "What? No!" He pulls out his phone. "I will be discreet." He puts the phone on speaker. "Hey Shawn, what's up?" He looks back at me. "Uhm, random question if a female bleeds during pregnancy does it always mean a miscarriage?" Dad laughs. "That is a very random question, why do you ask?" Shawn hesitates. "A woman on this video I watched talking about the different things women go through during pregnancy." Dad hums. "Well, it's not always a miscarriage. Some woman during the first trimester will have light bleeding or spotting. It can occurs 1-2 weeks after fertilization this is due to more blood vessels developing in that area." Shawn's body relax and he finally slowly down his car to the normal speed limit. "I recommend women to get checked to make sure the fetus is intact in the womb." He speeds the car up just a little. "Thanks Ray." He hangs up. "See I can be discreet."

Dr. Ale let us in before he closed to check on the fetus. "Again the fetus is healthy everything is fine she's just lightly bleeding right now it's normal it will probably stop in a few days or a week." Shawn and sigh with relief. "I'm glad you two caught me in time. I'm sorry I know it's closing time we will hurry and on our way. "Now worries, I will be right back." He walks out the room. Shawn kiss my forehead then my cheek and then my stomach. "Both of you are safe, both of you are ok, you will be ok. Daddy gots the both of you." He whispers to my stomach then he kiss it one last time before the doctor comes back. "Here is a book about pregnancy and a book about babies and after pregnancy. This should help the two of you." Shawn takes them. "Thanks. Come on baby." We leave the office and go home. He orders the food instead of going back to the restaurant. We lay in his bed his head rest on my stomach as we watched tv. Someone rings the door bell. "Food!" I say happily and about to get up when Shawn stops me. "No, lay there and rest, I got it." He leaves the room, I hear the door open and it's quiet for a moment. "Shawn?" No response I'm starting to worry. "Shawn!" Footsteps come up the stairs and Shawn walks in holding up the bag of food. "Who's ready to eat?" I clap with excitement. He pulls out a container opening it. This one is for you." I grab the burger practically drooling. "How come you never look at me that way?" I giggle. "Jealous of a burger?" He rolls his eyes then bites into his burger. I eat mine moaning this is...oh no." He stops eating and looks at me. "Baby?" I set my burger down and hop out of bed, I get to the bathroom in time and vomit. He rubs my back comforting me as much as he can. "I hate you." I groan and he chuckles. "I know." I get up and got to the sink to freshen myself up. "Looks like it doesn't agree with you on the burger. I will order you something else."  He pulls out his phone. "No don't, it's ok. Do we still have potatoes?" He looks confused by my question. "Uhm...yes? Do you want me to make something out of it?" I shake my head. "Can you bring them, don't wash them off." I instruct, he's still looks confused but did what I asked anyway. He comes back minutes later with a sack of potatoes. "Here you go, what are you going to do with them." I pull one out smelling the potato for a bit and hum. I lick it then bite into it enjoying the earthy taste of dirt. "Ok what the fuck." I ignore him and continue to eat. "So good!" The best part is I'm not throwing it up. "Tomorrow after school you and I are going to meet this lady that specializes in exercises for pregnant women it will help you, plus I want to get back into the gym. I haven't had time since..." he trails off. "Shawn?" He looks up at me. "Don't eat too many potatoes, I will be outside smoking if you need anything." He's till shaken up about that day, I am too but, I try not to think about it so much.
