- Unity Day-

I cannot wait another fucking day to get my hands on Monty's new brew. Thankfully it has officially been two days, and the setting sun in the sky signifies that I can soon lose myself in alcohol.

Over this time, I have not spoken to Bellamy and Bellamy has not spoken to me.

Actually, that's a lie. He approached me the morning after but I was too angry and dare I say it, embarassed, to let him speak. I hate the fact that I fell for his stupidly attractive face and witty charm. Above all I hate the fact I let my guard down. For the most part, I have learned from my past mistakes. Don't get attached. Yet I managed to land the same trap. It won't happen again.

"What's Jaha announcing now?" I join Raven infront of the screen that has being displayed in the centre of camp. There is quite the crowd forming around it. It being this broadcast from the Ark. Our communication has only improved - thank the Stars for my friend.

"Unity Day speech," she smiles at me. I spot Clarke speaking with Finn and Bellamy on the dropship ramp. My sister and I have not spoken about what we saw in those hallucinations. There's something uncomfortable about showing her - someone who looks up to me so much - my weakness. The thought isn't a proud one. I look back at Raven to let her know I heard her. My friend's expression falls. "Are you sure you're alright?" I don't know if she asks due to my change in mood, or the recent information that in a couple days time, the Exodus Ship - carrying my stepmother - will land on Earth. It's actually due on Clarke's 18th birthday - which is exciting for her.

Raven and I, equally, have not discussed the moment between Bellamy and I... or lack of moment. Octavia walks past, rolling her eyes at our Chancellor on the screen. I have seen the girl sneak off quite a bit in the last couple days. But she keeps coming back unharmed... so I have yet to conforont her. She revealed that the Grounder's name was Lincoln, and she is definitely seeing him. "Okay, fine," my hand tugs at Raven's whilst those brown eyes latch onto Clarke and Finn's smiling faces. "We're due for some gossip."

Raven's face lights up as I drag her off, distancing us from people. "Oh finally, (Y/n/n)," she groans with a cheeky smile. We come to a stop at the edges of the wall. I hear Monty and Jasper's voices from inside the 'brew' tent, but they're definitely too distracted by their process to hear us. Wait, what am I even meant to say to Raven? "This is clearly bigger than Kale," she mumbles.

I scoff before taking a deep breath. "Somewhat." Raven waits for me to make the first move, although the raise of her brows expresses how her patience is running out. "You remember when I recounted the hallucinations," she nods her head, "and how following Kale's death Bellamy was... nice?"

"Yeah," she chuckles, "and I still don't believe you," her hands land on her waist. "But go on."

"Then how this next morning I told you I was just stargazing...?" Her mouth parts, realising I lied to her.

"I'm guessing you weren't just stargazing?" Raven squints at me. Clearly she's unsure of where this is going. Or doesn't want it to go a certain way.

"Well," I say, "I was at the start," how do I put this so my best friend doesn't hit me? "But then Bellamy showed up again..." My lips purse and her eyes widen, urging me on. "We talked... it got sort of intimate..." Raven's left hand comes up to her mouth so she can nervously bite her nail. "We nearly kissed."

"What?!" I'm thankful she manages to keep her voice quiet from behind here, but I shush her anyways. "How do you nearly kiss?!"

I bite my tongue, inhaling sharply. "He pulled away."

"He pulled away?!?!" Now she's louder. My hand flies to tell her to shut up. "Sorry- what? Sorry... what?!" I chuckle, feeling ligthhearted about the mistake for the first time.
